Ohh, that is great to hear! Granted, it is much more formal than some other cruise lines, but we loved it and it isn't as formal as it is made out to be :)
I always find Le Havre a funny one - with those enormous ships in, you'd think it should be pretty busy (even with that minging weather). However, the day I was there (on Virtuosa last time) it was equally as quiet - so strange!
Great video again, giving serious thought to doing the Cunard festive cruise. Having a box at the theatre is so boujee, I absolutely love it! Also I’ve heard that if you set your iPhone to film at 25fps you don’t get LED light flicker.
I really like Le Havre there last October, when we were on Brittannia. I walked all the way from the ship to the Railway Station and Back. Yes I am a Trainspotter I’m afraid. Thanks a lot Lads ready already for the next one.
Great update guys and the lamb and cheese looked ace, regarding the cheese it's just reminded me when we were on the canal boat and I got some really stinky Camembert and my good lady wife took it out of the fridge and made me put it outside on the cratch. Looking forward to the next one chaps. 👍
Glad you enjoyed, the food was so good on this cruise! Hahaha, we love a baked Camembert but usually buy from the supermarket the day we'll eat it as it will stick the kitchen out otherwise!
could you tell us where to find the best deals for cruising , we been looking on skys cruise 1st channel , which seem good , have you heard of cruise nation. we not sure if to book anything on these sites or better goin direct to the cruise line it self . we are new to all this ❤
@dawngresswell travel agents are usually cheaper than booking direct, though they do normally want paying a bit earlier as this makes sure they have the money so they can pay the cruise line. We used cruise nation for our celebrity beyond cruise as they were the cheapest. If it’s your first, finding a good travel agent is good as they can help you, we use Martin from the travel village theholidayvillage.com/martin.phtml for most of our recent cruises. Tell him we sent you!
😂😂 it’s alright. It would be nice to see it in summer maybe, it’s very concretey but totally understandable given the history. Maybe next time we’ll give Honfleur a go! ❤️
you pair our so funny😂 me and my husband love watching your videos .If it was not for you both we would never have gone cruising , Even tho it's always been a dream of my husband , i was afraid of deep water thanks to you guys we went on our first cruise last August on Athem of the seas and loved every min of only went for a wk to spain and france , we have now booked another on MSC VIRTUOSA TWO WK CARIBBEAN , keep making these videos. And please stay happy and carefree always be the fun guys you are ❤
Omg, that’s fab to hear! It’s so nice to know we’ve helped encourage you to get onboard! It’s also great to hear you’ve been bitten by the cruise bug! 😀
We don’t event try to be 🤣 the whole ship is stunning, you really need to give it a go! Ohhh, we’re currently trying to shed all the podge, it’s a constant battle 🤣
Great video lads. I am booked to sail her on 1st Dec and cannot wait. Looks to be a slower paced ship than P&O but looks so authentic. Looking forward to the next episode 😀 👍
Yeah Neil is fab, he makes an appearance in our latest vlog too as he shows us around the SS Rotterdam! Lovely guy, met him on a couple of cruises now - coincidentally we seem to have the same taste in cruises!
I was in Le Havre in October on the Island Princess. I walked from the cruise terminal into the town centre, & it took about 20 minutes each way. The day I was there it was overcast with showers. I saw all the sights you showed on your video.
Greetings from Queen Elizabeth from South Australia next port maiden call at Port Lincoln for any Cunard ship our itinerary was altered because of the cyclone and we sailed south bookef again for Decembet lovely ship.
I was surprised to hear that they couldn't find a port glass. It might sound a bit naive but I expected better from Cunard (considering the cost of their cruises). X
We stopped at Le Havre in October. We had a Quick Look round and then got bus over to Honfleur. That’s a beautiful place. So next time you should go there.
We booked with Bee Le Havre. You have to book in advance. It’s a lovely little place to walk around, glass of wine by the harbour. Also have a ride on the carousel 😂
Great video! Did you find the Winter Gardens was quite often near-empty? We were on in July and we often had the place virtually to ourselves in the evening, but it was our favourite place!
Taking Luke recommendations about how NICE is Cunard 😂- just book a short 4 days cruise on Queen Mary... I'm going with my friend and definitely getting drinks package to try all the nice cocktails 🍸 It is your fault, rascals 😂❤
Hi guys. My husband and I and his parents are booked on Queen Victoria in November this year. How formal is the dress code throughout the day would you say? I'm not one for dressing up so much and the throughout of wearing a suit and tie isn't appealing. So smart casual? Is the buffet option less formal on an evening? Loving the vlogs guys.
During the day you can wear what you like, I mean it wouldn’t be acceptable to wear swim shorts to the main dining room as is the case with all cruise lines. Evening it’s only required for you to wear shirt and jeans/chinos now, unless of course it’s black tie night where a suit/tux would be expected, but if that’s not your thing you could eat at the buffet and stay up on the lido deck. Hope this helps
You just pop to reception to book them, anyone can book them but obviously the number of boxes are limited. Best to book on boarding day but you can book later in the cruise too. It’s only for production shows, If the theatre is showing a comedian, film or other such entertainment the boxes are complimentary and available on a "first come first served" basis.
Have you been to Le Havre? Be sure to like and subscribe, it really helps others find our videos!
We’ve never fancied Cunard as thought it would be too formal / stuffy for us but you are slowly bringing us round. ❤
Ohh, that is great to hear! Granted, it is much more formal than some other cruise lines, but we loved it and it isn't as formal as it is made out to be :)
me and my husband thought the same but like you we slowly coming round to idea ❤
I always find Le Havre a funny one - with those enormous ships in, you'd think it should be pretty busy (even with that minging weather). However, the day I was there (on Virtuosa last time) it was equally as quiet - so strange!
Yeah - wonder if most just stay on the ships or head elsewhere, we have had lots saying to take trips to Honfleur?!
Great video again, giving serious thought to doing the Cunard festive cruise. Having a box at the theatre is so boujee, I absolutely love it! Also I’ve heard that if you set your iPhone to film at 25fps you don’t get LED light flicker.
Oh you really should, great way to get in the festive spirt! Thanks for the tip, we will give that a go :)
I really like Le Havre there last October, when we were on Brittannia. I walked all the way from the ship to the Railway Station and Back. Yes I am a Trainspotter I’m afraid.
Thanks a lot Lads ready already for the next one.
Oh fab - oh its nice to enjoy something, we're cruise ship spotters ;)
Have a great weekend!
I was on this cruise loved it bringing back happy memories
It was a fantastic cruise! We absolutely loved it! Glad we’re helping you relive it!

Enjoyed your video much. I miss Queen Victoria. She is so lovely and beautiful ship. You look very dapper in your suits 😃

It was delish! Haha, know that feeling!
Brilliant guys 🎉🎉 food looked amazing ❤
Thank you, it was delicious 😋
We really love your videos. You are always so happy and positive. We love cruising as well. By the way, your house looks fantastic for christmas.
Thanks so much! 😊 Yes, there’s no point dwelling in small things, we’re on holiday to enjoy and that’s what we do 😀
I love your Welsh tattoos. So cool!
Thank you! Diolch! ❤️
"It's not the worst place, it's actually okay" ha ha.
😂😂 it’s alright. It would be nice to see it in summer maybe, it’s very concretey but totally understandable given the history. Maybe next time we’ll give Honfleur a go! ❤️
Sandwich watch alert 🥪…Prawn cocktail sandwich for the win!!! Whoop whoop!!🎉
Yeah, can’t beat prawn cocktail! 🤤
Really enjoyed your QV videos. Am travelling in summer & very excited 😊
Aww thank you! Have a wonderful time. We’re on a 7 night Queen Anne cruise this summer 😀
Oh I love the theater box with comfy chairs❤ lovely vlog
Well worth paying as an extra special treat :)

Happy cruising guys where ever you pair go this year. keep safe ❤
Hi both,
This cruise looks one of the best!
Cant wait for afternoon tea on Queen Anne! Are you going on Anne?
😊
Good evening! We loved this cruise so much, reminded us why we love Cunard! You’ll have to stay tuned 😉
You guys are so funny! 😂 That theatre looks beautiful! 😍😍😍 We have always wanted to try Cunard. Really don’t know where you guys put all that food! 😂🤣
Thank you! It is more relaxed, service and quality a little more polished but still familiar like P&O - you’ll have a wonderful time.
I see you were sitting with Neil in the Golden Lion.

Hey hey! Hope you have a fab maiden call welcome! Such a fantastic ship, can see why you have rebooked! Enjoy the cruise!
Thank you for the video
Thanks for watching!
Awe such a fun vlog to watch 😊 le Harve looked a little grey , if it was sunny would be different, beautiful on board though x enjoy
Glad you enjoyed! Yeah it was a little grey but we still enjoyed a mooch!
I was surprised to hear that they couldn't find a port glass. It might sound a bit naive but I expected better from Cunard (considering the cost of their cruises). X
That’s a very fair point 👍
Last Oct on Euribia. Walked to beach, St Joseph's Church and decent meal in micro brewery L'etable. Didn't fancy the expensive long haul to Paris 😂
Oh nice, sounds a nice way to spend time in Le Havre!
I didn't realise Paris is so far I thought about an hour but it's further 😮
Yeah it’s a long long way, they did have trips as we were in port for a long time that day
Great vids you drinking soft drinks😂😂😂😂😂
We do try 😇
So important question, in your afternoon tea did you go jam/cream or cream/jam on your scones?
Jam first then cream on top, seems to stick better that way :)
We stopped at Le Havre in October. We had a Quick Look round and then got bus over to Honfleur. That’s a beautiful place. So next time you should go there.
So many people have told us to try Honfleur, so that is definitely on the cards for next time!
Yes, it was always quiet when we went, felt sorry for the singer some night! Was a bit busier when football was on.
Taking Luke recommendations about how NICE is Cunard 😂- just book a short 4 days cruise on Queen Mary... I'm going with my friend and definitely getting drinks package to try all the nice cocktails 🍸
It is your fault, rascals 😂❤
Ohhh you will have such a nice time! QM2 is a really nice ship 🤣 Honestly, it’s one of our favourite ships, nothing compares to it 😍
@@CruiseMonkeys this is my friend first cruise! I know it will be NICE VERY NiCE 🤣😘
I’m going on the Queen Victoriathis year! 20th May. Istanbul to Rome!
Oh, now that sounds like a fantastic cruise! We're heading down that way on Sun Princess, a new part of the world for us to cruise to!
Cannot contain himself! Lol 😝 Looks like you had a good time despite the weather. Did you get that painting for Christmas by the way, Luke? x
Unfortunately I didn’t get the painting! Never mind, I’ll do my own when I find the time, or maybe a model instead😉
Hi guys. My husband and I and his parents are booked on Queen Victoria in November this year. How formal is the dress code throughout the day would you say? How do you get a box at the theatre? Can you book? Are they only for certain cabins?
You just pop to reception to book them, anyone can book them but obviously the number of boxes are limited. Best to book on boarding day but you can book later in the cruise too. It’s only for production shows, If the theatre is showing a comedian, film or other such entertainment the boxes are complimentary and available on a "first come first served" basis.

Don’t you have water with your dinner?
Yes, they will provide water if you wish :)
Boys, I used to work in a dry cleaners. You will ruin your suit jackets if you get them wet! X
Ohhh, thanks for that tip, we’ll be sure to avoid the rain in the future ☺️
Come on lads, Steamer chairs please, not deck chairs, you are on Cunard you know 😊😊😊
Hahaha, we'll remember that one for next time we're on Cunard ;)
Le Havre is grim, even when it's not raining.
🤣🤣
Hi cruise monkeys how is new cruise going
It was fab thank you ☺️
