This is a little different style of video from you Jeff, and I really like it !!!! Love the discussion on your logical choices as well as some good ole fashion hands on fitment and welding... Cheers!!!
Unless I missed something (possible) - I would like to see the rust on the inner structure neutralised and coated before covering back up with the new steel. Big job reskinning with good fit (as seems to be the go here). CHEERS from AUSTRALIA.
James, great video. I have always had trouble fitting quarters and finding areas where I can move stuff around to get a better fitment. I liked your solution to bend the flange to get another 1/8". Nothing is perfect with old cars and you have to work with what you have.... my wife says the same thing about me.
Hi Jim. The car is looking really nice. A lot of time, effort and perfectionism to get it looking that nice. Merry Christmas to you folks and God bless you all.
Wondered what happened to you Jeff. Wow, you have been working. Great video and awesome skills with panel fitment. Lot of finesse work. I always learn something from your videos. Thanks a bunch!!
Great video! I've been at it for many years but I always learn something new when I watch you work! Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and yours! Thanks again.
Was wondering what happened to you? Glad to see you again. The vid brings back my quarter panel install. I’m just a rookie too. Love learning from you brother. Thanks. Hope all is well with you and the family.
Spray duplicolor rust barrier or the brush on? I used por 15 it is a mess to deal with an even bigger pain keeping it from gettin hard once I used it one time
Are there welds that go between the top of the rear of the rocker panel and the lower edge of the quarter panel where they join? Seems if they are spot welded they would have to come from inside the window cavity?
Hey Jeff. I love puzzles. I see you do too. (Full size model kits lol) Youre the best and i learn so much. These repops can be frustrating but it seems youre always in control. Do you watch Aurther Tussik? Hes a master. Happy Holidays & Merry Christmas.

I don't think that tub is not going to fall off you haven't been doing many videos lately Merry Christmas to you and your family ho ho ho
you have good taste in hammers too,
Mustie1 same as your favorite hammer.
Was curious how you braced inside the trunk to keep alignment when doing the quarters. Can't see it clearly in the video.
Thumbs up!
great work like always, how do you like that welding helmet over others you have used ?
MrFireman164 helmet works good. Thanks.
Sorry I can’t tell are you hammering down the spot weld or are you hammering down flat the next spot weld? Awesome clip
gonzo7188 hammering the next flat and tight before welding
