Great work on comparing strollers. However viewers please bear in mind that these reviews are more technical than based on actual user reviews. I purchased the bugaboo butterfly after watching these videos and I forgot to bear in mind practicalities like a peekaboo window and a pocket to stash essentials like keys and phone. The bugaboo has neither of these. The storage underneath is also small (not the smallest) but not easily accessible. A further point is that the handle bar is so wide, you cannot fit a shopping bag over it. Important details that just can’t be forgiven on a well know brand like bugaboo. Lastly, build quality is poor, the chassis scratches very easily and the leather handle is already coming apart. The brake also is positioned right in the middle of the bottom bar, very tricky to get to, my previous stroller (ickle bubba globe) which I highly highly recommend cost half the price and does a better job!
Hopefully this helps anyone reading the comments and considering purchasing the bugaboo butterfly!
Can wait to see a comparison with the minu v2
Please do a yoyo2 comparison!
Hi! Can you, please, make a video comparing the Bugaboo Butterfly with the Uppababy Minu V2? Thank you!
Which did you end up getting?!
I have one and so far its been great! One of the things that I think is undervalued is that it is really easy to adjust the pushchair for children of different ages, if you have an older and younger child where the older one may just need it occasionally. The easy to adjust straps both for hight and for length make the butterfly really good for this.
What is your experience with the fabric? Does it bobble after using?
How's the fabric?
I cant wait to see a butterfly vs minu 2 video.
Gotta see Yoyo v. Butterfly and Minu v2 v. Butterfly.
I checked the handle bar for butterfly is $39
I bought this pushchair recently and am currently trying to return it. We found it had quite a big issue with tipping sideways due to its high centre of gravity.
If you intend to push it along anything other than perfectly flat even surfaces then I would strongly advise against this pushchair. I never considered sloped driveways, slopes caused by tree roots etc when I was looking at this stroller. I would also say I particularly looked at it because it was one of the larger seats and weight limits for a travel stroller, but when my 11.5kg baby leant to one side whilst we were walking along a perfectly smooth but slightly sloped path, the buggy did tip over. Of course I had hold of the handle bar so no harm done but this happened several times over a 1.6mile round trip. I can only imagine that issue getting worse the bigger your child, and it really pulled on my back and shoulders keeping it upright.
Interesting. I have a large young toddler and took it all through Edinburgh and didn’t have this problem.
Have been trying to get more info on this tipping issue thank you
For sharing. I tested it in the shop yesterday and admit it tipped to the side wheels even on a flat surface of a shop but going around corners of the aisles. I’m SO upset about it because otherwise i love everything about this stroller but don’t want to risk my baby tipping over?! How on earth did it pass safety tests 🤦🏽♀️
Took it for a spin in a store and It’s smooth as a butter. There’s something special about all Bugaboo strollers. The feel is amazing!
P.S I am curious to see what you guys think about Joolz Geo 3. It looks so stunning! And I am usually not a huge fan of their designs.
How old is your child ?
We have bugaboo fox, but how is the butterfly when baby wants to sit up right? Is the folding and unfolding smooth for you?
I try it in store with my 1 year old daughter on it, feel good and stable
Would love to get your opinion on the Butterfly vs Joolz Aer
I‘d love that too! I am unsure sich of those two is better suitable for us 😁
This is great and very thorough!
we were looking for a sturdy travel stroller, and the butterfly caught our attention. Though I've found that the narrow rear train makes the stroller extremely unstable. It naturally wants to lean on the outer wheel when trying to turn... we'll go with something more stable that doesn't risk of tipping over at every turn
thank you so much! you doing great job, helping parents to make a right choice. I would love to see vs yoyo, leclerc magic fold, chicco we, Jolie travel and nuna trv 😅
Can we use the toddler board? I noticed 2 small holes at the back and wondered if that’s what that’s for. Thanks
I don't think he likes toddler boards, especially with an ultracompact. Wheeled boards already cause so much extra wear on normal size strollers.

Yes!
Would you recomment the joolz aer or bugaboo butterfly?
That’s what I am wondering too 😅
He always says joolz are built fantastically. Bugaboo are going downhill with quality my fox 3 which I love has been replaced once and I’m having trouble again. I have 2 other prams a bee 6 and a silver cross reflex so it’s not used everyday. They don’t make them like the buffalo era.
Amazing video!!!🎉
Wich compact stroller would you recomment for an older child? Im looking at this one and the ergobaby metro+
Thank you🙂
Hi please answer would it be wise to use this stroller for everyday use? I usually go for walk 2hours everyday
How about a board for a second child? Is that an option? That will be the deciding factor for us given we have two children. The YOYO2 had the option to attach one.
Just some info I thought was cool; My son is young enough that he can’t balance on the seat of the Babyzen wheel board so we took the seat off for him to stand but he actually sat on the wheeled board and put his feet in the basket! It makes for a more stable ride for him and gives the wheeled board an additional ride position! Hope that helps
pls do butterfly vs joolz aer comparison 😊
Yes please! 😁😍
3:24 fold the leg rest if you will use the strap to make it not awkward.
Hello, and thank you for the review of this stroller. Would the stroller still fold with the car seat adapter installed? Thank you
Hi! Thanks for the review! Can you fold it with the car seat adaptors?
Can’t make up my mind between this one or the new Cybex Coya (uh first world problems lol).. anyway, the only problem with Coya for me is the small leg rest area for a toddler.
What would you recommend more?
Thank you so much
What do you think about the mechanism holding seat back in place. It is a button clips, is not it? I'm a bit sceptical. Do you think they are as reliable as straps?
My daughter is just over 3 and 14kgs. I'm attracted to the larger seat and backrest of this model. Are there any other strollers in this category that you could recommend that offer more headroom/support for older toddlers?
Uppababy minus v2 and leclerc influencer
Can you add a review that indicates if a child snack tray or bumper bar can be added? so far I know the Yoyo 2 and Ergo Metro+ have these available accessories.
Not OP but you can purchase a bumper bar separately.
Are the rear wheels removable for cleaning/maintenance?
Hi, can u pls suggest butterfly bugaboo or baby jogger mini GT2?
Thank you!
Could you please review the minu v2 thanks😉
Thanks again for another great non non-sense review!
So torn between this and the Joolz aer. Can’t try either locally and need to order ASAP for our 7 month old for an upcoming 4 months away from home trip.
I bought a Joolz Aer after watching his review on it and comparing it to other compact stroller reviews. After having watched this Butterfly review, I’m glad I went with the Joolz. The sun visor was a dealbreaker for me personally. When you extend the butterfly’s visor there’s too big of a gap and I’d hate for my baby to get direct sun especially if you’re somewhere in the heat. Also I don’t want to fidget with opening and folding the stroller as the butterfly seems to have a small issue with that.
@@yvonnev.8217 their definetely no small issue with folding and opening,
I literally could have written the same comment-only difference being length of time traveling.
I’m leaning towards the Aer, as it’s $100 cheaper.
@@leahweiss4545 here in the US the Joolz is sold out everywhere and if you find it ends up being around 60$ more expensive with the footrest. Not sure if they’re having severe supply chain issues or are maybe updating the model?
@@yvonnev.8217 main reason for leaning towards the joolz is the weird mesh opening on top.
Can I use rain cover with it?
Can you do a comparison with the minu v2 and yoyo?
Cant wait to see comparison with yoyo2! I'm about to purchase and torn between these models
Coming soon:)
Hey, what did you choose? I m in the same situation and I cannot decide...
In the uk the thing putting me off off the people on the pages, they’re having tipping problems as well as wheel problems. The chassis is scratching very easily.
Hello, is there a newborn nest that we can use on the butterfly until 6 months? Because i think this one isnt suitable for newborns?
No, only car-seat options, but you could use the cloud z2 for a lie-flat option. :)
@@BarnevognverkstedNo thank you!
What insect net can you use on this pram
Thank you for the thorough review! Based on some of your reviews, it seems that the Bugaboo Butterfly and Minu V2 could tackle a little more terrain than other compact strollers? Would you say they are equal in that respect?
Based on what I've seen, the Minu v2 and the Babby Jogger Tour 2 are better for paved roads and rough sidewalks.
Do you need a bag for traveling?
Not in my opinion. It folds up nice, and can be carried by the leg-rest / handle without a bag. :)
Crazy question, but can you get it under 7kg by removing wheels and carrying separately? Most international airlines are strict on the 7kg limit.
Yes, undoubtedly. I would guess that the wheels account for at least 1 kg of the model's weight. Certainly more than 0.3 kg. :)
How upright is the upright position?
30 degrees off a straight 90 roughly. It's a lot more upright than it looks in pictures, but if you're concerned, note that the presence of a separate seat insert makes it really easy to tuck some padding between the insert and the seat to correct the angle even more. :)
Can this be used for newborn?
No it doesn’t fully recline.
Could you make a comparison with the HAMILTON ONE PRIME? Thank you!!!
✌💖💖💖
Bugaboo is such a great brand but they are lacking in the "lightweight" department 😢 7kg is not light in allot of peoples opinions
All these updates but it doesn’t parent face 😭which is what I really want in a compact stroller. Any recommendations on alternatives that parent face?
Cybex have one.
