Pinning jar, cmd or bat to Windows 11 taskbar

Pinning bat, cmd or jar files to the Windows 11 taskbar is incomprehensibly difficult. Here is the fastest method I know.
Note that you have to change the icon and rename back to bat, cmd or jar in two steps. Doing it all at once does not work.

did you change the file type to .exe? maybe you changed the file name? enable view file extension
