You can use elementalist's ride the lightning or engineer's rocket boots instead of a druid, tho the preferred pixels for each of those is slightly to the left instead of the right (The other side of the brick). Additionally, there's actually 3 secret bonus chests you can get afterwards but you can only get one at a time. I see you are a man of culture and like using superspeed scrapper but make sure you use stealth gyro because that is frikken awesome here (statues and mobs just ignore you). Edit: Virtuoso sword 3 and ambush sword attack (mirage with sword main hand, after 'dodging') are also sufficient to leap the gap for button #2. Mechanist shift signet is generally also really good for skipping past statues but bugs out on some areas of the terrain.
@@kursatsaimtuna7163 wouldn't use a condi bs in w3 tho, power bs is gonna be best. @Menar I didn't know that Savage Leap actually was enough range. I'm fairly certain Leath of Faith from the guardian is insufficient and would assume Savage Leap is the same range. The more you know.
Muk, at 1:10 where you're using a fountain, you can see that your number of Madness stacks doesn't change at all by using the fountain. This is because you have to click on "Leave" in that fountain pop-up window to get the fountain's effect. If you close that window in any other way, for example by running out of range like you did, the fountain has no effect. Maybe you should add this piece of info to the guide somehow, because it's rather unintuitive, but pretty important to know? Just for clarity: as you might have seen in the video, for button #3 there is an opened door. Typically when you get there the door will be closed and will only open when someone triggers button #5. The last portal opens when you kill all the mobs as for all the other portals, nothing to do with the buttons although you cannot reach the end as doors will be closed in front of you.

Oh, usually my squad involves the druid (usually me) doing the first 3 buttons while the rest of the squad gets to the very end doing what they need to do. I thought this was normal for all parties lol
Great guide as always. Loved the movie references esp. Labyrinth. Very fitting. There are other classes that can do the Druid skip but I don't remember which ones. I think Elementalist and Warrior? It took me an embarrassingly long time to get that looking away from the statue still means that you gain insanity. There are also 2 more bonus chests IIRC but they take a bit longer to reach and if you don't need whatever was in them for the legi collection, they may not be worth your time. PS: Will you do Deimos guide or do you plan to skip the more complicated end-of-dungeon bosses? Edit: Now I how to grab my copy of Labyrinth and watch it again. I hope you are proud of yourself.

All this time i've been clearing and didn't realize there are 6 buttons total o.O if you go right of the horseshoe there's another button but its a whole lot harder to get than the left portal .... yikes
@@kaltaron1284 Once you've activated the first button the portal to the right of the starting area opens -> this takes you to an area with enemies that is located above the portal to the left of the starting area. Climbing up these stairs after clearing the enemies leads you to a portal that teleports you to a platform which has the pulsing damage and fire application mechanic. Just after you clear this area there is a fountain and a portal to the left and a thin walkway to the right where a statue is waiting in front of a door. Inside this door are enemies with "fake" floor tiles that you'll fall through unless you stick to the right tiles which lead to another portal. This portal leads you to an area with a locked door that relies on other buttons being pressed and is gaurded by a statue. Once the door opens there is another statue plus some enemies on the other side. Once the enemies here have been defeated, three portals will appear on the other side of this area and you have to choose the correct one to enter. Entering the correct one (I think it was the far right portal) will lead you to another platform which contains a button. I hope you were able to follow this and know which platforms and portals I referred to.
There are 7 buttons in total, of which 1 is easily doable with this strategy and you can do it for safety incase 1 of the buttons didn't get pressed. The button I was talking about is at 2:07 on the platform you see on the right side. A simple jump with swiftness is enough to get there. The other button is kinda far away with this strat as a pretty big part is skipped by dodging down to the other platform.
@Kal Taron @Dylan Warwick @TJ Thanks for the responses. I've now realized that TC was never about activating a certain "amount" of buttons, but rather activating very specific buttons that ultimately results in the final door being accessible and opened. So theoretically, if you could fly, you could head straight for the "last" button and then open the door to finish the encounter without having activated any other buttons. I think this was a fundamental misunderstanding I had of the encounter where I tried to activate all of the buttons thinking that this was the passing condition. So my initial statement on this thread was, to some extent, true, except the basis on which the statement was made was flawed.
