An amazing app - thank you Roland! My only "complaint" is this: I wish there was an option to buy individual effects etc. Many of us are rather fed up with the subscription concept; you can't subscribe to everything is this word, especially not if you only use it occasionally.
How does one erase songs? I've changed the names of songs after writing lyrics and titles of the pieces... now I wish to erase the earlier versions without erasing the final finished pieces. Do you have an in depth help line? Where on my phone are the audio files saved? Do I need to clear out unused takes? Many thanks for a useful writing tool.

I know it’s early days, but very keen to learn more. Always wanted Ableton Live on my iPad, and this is the closest I’ve seen. Exciting release, always loved Roland/Boss products.

When used with an iPhone, I’m assuming that the input is a stereo track. Could I pan 2 sources right and left and then split it into 2 mono tracks in Zentracker?

Hi, yes you can use an audio interface or just your device's microphone. It is not quite like AUM in the sense you can route inter app audio in but you can use Zentracker as a multitrack recorder with unlimited tracks with FX, audio sends, and main track.
Sure can! Tap on the track and let the pop up for import come up and the choose out if your IPhone files folder. Doesn’t allow for all formats of audio, it seems. I can not upload a audio recording file. Meh. Should have used Zen Tracker to capture the live performance. I’m still learning. It seems powerful.
With this if you want the pro features like audio support you’re going to have either spend $100...each year providing it doesn’t go up or $19.00 a month. This one is a hard pass for me, I already have ZenBeats and unlocked audio unit support for like $15.00, no subscription. I also have other IPad Daws so as much as I’m a long time Roland user, especially their hardware, I’m definitely passing on this app.

Hey! Yes, you are right. Zenbeats can be used in a similar way. We made Zentracker for an easier and more streamlined audio recording app for people looking to get a quick idea or sample down fast. Zenbeats has so many modes including Drum Machine, LoopBuilder, Timeline, MIDI, synths, effects etc... that it can feel overwhelming and deep. We hope this is an easier first step for a person who isn't as experienced in fully-fledged DAWs.
does anyone know if there any simple, or easy to learn software where you can mix multiple video and multiple audio signals for a live event like a concert or loud jam for a youtube vide and everything is synced already and you could go back an remix either audio or video . ???? thanks, any input is appreciated

I'm trying to use it on an iphone X and it's pretty rough. I can't seem to make cuts when zoomed in. Some more in depth, slower tutorials or a detailed PDF would be helpful.

@@Arperture I’m using the new IPad Air and haven’t had an issue with that. Try closing all your apps, turning it off and then back on again. I’ve noticed since iOS 14, some gear and audio units won’t be recognized without doing this.
Not yet as far as song compatibility ;) but the Roland Cloud memberships do give you everything in both apps, including all features, sounds and platforms.
None of this works. Cannot export. Cannot transfer. Just freezes up while saying please wait. Have to exit out and start over. Uploaded 8 seconds of a 3 min song to OneDrive. Won’t export to google drive. Cannot share my songs at all.
Is it the intention to leave out some of the editing functions. Because its a nightmare to cut and paste there's no undo the editing sucks let like shit
Curious as to what exactly “sucks”? I just took a simple piano phrase and chopped and re-arranged it in a few minutes. There is undo/redo right at the top of track view. There are a few minor glitches but they are being corrected.
Cool stuff. Would love to record my Roland synths such as the boutique line TR-6s or the Jupiter XM directly through USB on Zenbeats, but they aren’t USB Class Compliant 😼
Okay, seems a nice app. Just the name "Tracker" is misleading, because this is not a Tracker app. It is more a Cubase/GarageBand type of thing. For those who don't know, the Trackers were iconic type of music software, popular in the 80s and 90s on Amiga and DOS (and later on Windows). I grew up with these.
