Definitely had separation issues which also impacted Jacolby as well. Chris Culliver definitely got some separation toward the tail end of last year. Just need someone at QB that consistently lay it out there for him.
Hopefully we get enough wide receiver talent in the portal to not have to rely on Kobe. Talented, but fragile. It's one thing to have someone want to come play at UNC, quite another to highly value a waffler.

I am excited about the pick ups so far. 1 thing is concerning me. It seems that we are the 2nd, or 3rd visit for most of these guys which is troubling. Most prospects seem to go with the team with they first visit. Maybe taking an extra day or two to hire Bill hurt us this cycle. We hVe already lost out on a few that had 1 or 2 other teams to visit prior to us.
Keen observation, Scott. But a kid that doesn’t even want to meet BB before making his decision has to live with that mistake. Waiting the couple extra days definitely didn’t help things though.

I think getting one field stretcher in the portal makes sense with this young WR core. Separation seemed to be a bit of an issue.
Chris Culliver may be that guy next year. He was known to be a burner in high school. Seem to catch his stride late this year.

There are a lot of WRs in the portal. Just need 1 or 2. Grabbing one of those 6'3 - 6'5" guys would be great. Not a lot of height in that room.
We lost out on Caleb Odom and that one hurt. He had UNC in his top 3.
