I was racking my brain, trying to figure out the cords and making my fingers do weird things such as ready to start. I remember your channel and it’s simplified. How could I have forgotten to use a capo!? Thank you
Great job! Extremely helpful. Thank you. BTW, what software are you using for the "fretboard animation"? I don't recall seeing it before. Thanks again.
Glad you like it! Actually I happen to be a software developer so I made my own software to generate the animations. I made a desktop application that I use to tab the guitar parts, then the animations are generated frame-by-frame using Matplotlib in Python. In total, it took me about 2 years to build everything from scratch.
@@electric_praise Oh wow, that's very impressive. As another Python developer (mostly backend web & REST API stuff), that had to be a ton of work. Thank you for putting so much into it... it really works great. Blessings to you.
That's right. The capo allows you to use open chord shapes of a different key. This song is in the key of E, so with the capo on the 4th fret I can use open C shapes, since E is 4 semitones up from C. For instance, if a song was in the key of D, you could capo the 2nd fret and use C shapes. Hope this helps!

@@electric_praisewell done sir.
Hey I have a question since am quite new to theory. On the bottom side why did you put a capo ? Easier to play chords ?
That's right. The capo allows you to use open chord shapes of a different key. Literally how i use your videos. I learn everything with the capo on the 4th then play with it on the 2nd to be in the key of our singers.
