Yes! More Saab vids please Kyle :)
Hey! Question, so I just got a really great condition 2003 9-3 SE Turbo w/ sport package one of the only things wrong is the carbon fiber trim is cracked. I noticed in your review you said it was metal look, but I have the window sticker that shows it is carbon fiber. So would you know where to get a replacement for it??? Thanks!
I've owned a Saab for 19 years.. still properly working! I've always been obsessed with this brand! Huge build quality and a timeless design! Missing it so much
It's SaabKyle04 reviewing a Saab
I love the lock unlock sound omg
More Saab reviews! I love learning about these cars!
I miss Saab.
John Grytbakk me too. I miss the old square Volvos. The new ones look like my Hyundai
yes, I had a 142 (1972), and a 245 (1984) ......loved them. But I really loved the 142. .....so want one again. Hopefully one fine day. Today's cars aren't even close to the former greats.
This is a beautiful Viggen! It shares so much of my beloved 9-5 Aero, I miss it.
Man I really loved this review, thanks for sharing. I think GM really blew it by destroying Saab, it was a really good little car company
The OG car UA-camr. Love the vids Kyle, this Saab is sweet.
YES!!!!!!!! This is the best video to show up in my subscription list in such a long time - thank you for this @saabkyle04 - does this viggen belong to you? 39K miles - pristine!!!
Saabkyle04 found one sitting on an empty lot. Needs a lot of work but I'm thinking of buying it and making it my project car. They are selling it for. Only $500 😳😳😳😳
Hello from Australia, thanks for the comprehensive review of the Viggen. I have my eyes on a black 5-door in lovely nic which is 4 sale. All the best for 2021
Favorite channel on UA-cam! I come here when I want the most informative reviews, and still want to feel entertained in the process. Keep it up Kyle!
Never clicked so quick on one of his videos ! Finally the viggen and wow it's so clean.
Yes! Liked before I even saw video. Thanks for returning to the “original” format. It’s a good style
I used to have a cosmic blue 2003 9-3 Aero Convertible. The bodykit makes the car look so good. I still consider this to be the best looking bodykit of all the different models and trims that SAAB offered. Keep up the good work!!

I love all your videos in which you get to drive the cars man, wish you would make a video of the final generation of the 93. I know it is not one of the most loved ones, but it was my favourite back in the day. The 2.0L with announced 210hp is a car I´m saving to buy, it may take a while to find one in good shape like this Viggen. Keep up the good work!!!
The thing looks brand new!
Awesome beautiful car! Kyle at 5:39 you look like you have a screw in your tire. Fyi
OMG, good eye! I can't believe I never noticed that. Thankfully it's not leaking, but I'll get it looked at in the morning. Thank you!!!
Saabkyle04 no problem man. Where did you find this rare low mile viggen? I am looking for a 9-3 x wagon.
A local place called Cosmo Motors, I've filmed a bunch of videos there in the past. I couldn't believe it when I saw it!
Great video! I think you’ve hit the sweet spot for the length one of your videos should be. Great blending the old style with the modern style.
I had this exact car ! It’s truly the biggest sleeper out there . I dusted so many Mustang GT’s with this car not to mention an Audi S8 and BMW 335i. This car is just amazing . It looks great and it’s a great Winter Car. I wonder if this is my car as it was sold to a guy who had it shipped to North Carolina .it had less than 40K on it in 2015.
Hey saabkyle04 I've been watching your videos since 2009 and you haven't lost a step best car review channel on UA-cam
The Saab 9-3 Viggen is very fast and I love the way it drives. I always thought Saabs are cool cars.
I’m in love with this car since 2005
Handheld POV startup! It's great!
Yeah man! I'm doing it from now on. I've filmed a bunch of videos already with the 3rd person start up so I have to work through those, but all new videos filmed from here on will be POV!
Awesome! It really gives the viewer a good feel for how it would actually be to sit in the driver's seat of whichever particular car
I've never been early to one of your videos! Just wanna say your videos are amazing! You're doing a great job Kyle!
I like when you review older cars and not just new ones, great video Kyle :)
What a great car! I loved! Nice review as always, mate 😊
We can tell how much this really trips your trigger Kyle! Congrats on the run ride - I'd guess you'll probably drive this a lot more than the Viper....
The 9-3 Viggen (coupe, convertible or hatchback, it doesn’t matter which body configuration) is my FAV Saab.
Kyle this gave nostalgia from your early UA-cam days! 💯☺️
Absolutely thorough, informative and entertaining review.
it sounds soo soothing to the ears with the muffler deleted
I love the Viggen. One of the few Saabs I want more than the 9-5 Aero I have now, even if it's a downgrade in power (well, in stock form...)!
COOL 2002 Saab 9-3 Viggen Convertible: Start Up, Test Drive & In Depth Review
I had a2001 black on black viggen convertible. I I hit 149 mph before I ran out of testosterone. The most fun car I have ever owned. Oh yeah that 149 mph was with the top down.
Thank you sir, I really enjoy these thorough video’s!
Great, in depth review!! Excellent commentary, photos, and historical info! Thanks! J.G.
Colorado hosted the 1999 Saab Convention in Keystone, CO [ The Peak NINE Experience ] - where everyone had first experienced the Viggen and got the chance to ride in one as I was part of the Mile High Saab Club as the Founder and President; Jerry had one and we cruise around at high speeds in Denver near his automotive shop [ Mile Hi Automotive, Inc. ] prior to making the journey of Saab owners making the trip was a sight to see...
That one is CLEAN! nice car!
39k on it!? Wow! Great review! I'm so torn apart between a viggen or a 2.8L aero either 4 door or convertible, for the time I will keep enjoying my 2005 Saab 9-3 arc stage2.
now THATS a way better car than the v6-thing you had earlier :)
Love this car :)
it actually has enough room for backseats well done Saab
Enjoyed watching this Kyle love you and Chris fixes channels the most and watching bought for number of years now usually impaired and really want to get into the automotive field have never commented here on UA-cam first time usually just Facebook you guys all keep up the great work I’m in New York on long island
Ok, Thank you for confirming what years Viggens were made. There is someone in my town selling a 2008 9-3 convertible with Viggen badges.
Awesome video, of an awesome car, love your old style videos, of cars we all knew growing up, and lusted after :D
Sounds good too!
I really like this combination of retro Saabkyle04 and new Saabkyle04 styles. Great stuff man!
That's a nice clean car and you look happy and content driving it.
This is so cool! More reviews just like this please!
Much better on the close ups good job bro
A Viggen 5 door in yellow would be my ideal OG9-3
I love my 2004 glacier blue 9-5
Yesss finally! my day has been made! Thankyou Kyle
I like the driving in the background more, good choice.
Kyle I have a question from your last vid but does your family still own the dealership and if so can u do more vids there???
I remember wanting to buy a Saab when I grew up...20 years later and I'm finally in the position to buy a decent car, but no more Saabs :(
My want for a Viggy grows stronger every day.
Has to be one of best preserved examples! It fits you perfectly! Haha
That is very nice Saab and I remember my 99 Saab 9-3 hatchback and I remember the unlock chirp and the ding when starting the car up
Wow what a nice car. Really. Sounds amazing. Those pops my god. And fast! That speedo climbed!
Aayyyy
A Saab video ❤️
I remember driving one as a bellman when it was brand new....absolutely loved it. I think it was a 2000?
Nice review, cool seeing it drive on the hometown roads also. I see a huge difference in build quality compared to our 2004 9³ very nice.
5:35 Nail in tire LOL. I just missed a black convertible in NY but picking up a Blue 3dr with Abbott, VRK, etc. this week Jan 2024 I can't wait. 13 or 14th SAAB mostly C900T/C, a 9-3 SE Viggen Look convertible and one 9KT.
What an insane specimen. Such a cool car .
Great car review!
Kyle I had 6 SAABs. Just sold my 1999 9-3 conv this year sadly w 89k miles. . i bought all them new. I always wanted a Viggen. I always planned on owning SAABs but got to difficult to maintain them once they were shut down..
Nice Viggen! I have a black 2000 Saab 9-5 Aero manual sedan with the charcoal ventilated and heated seats with the wood grain steering wheel, wallnut shift knob and dash. I have a set of Viggen rims on it right now but I have a set of BBS RK1s to go on next summer. Great video you should do one on a 9-5 Aero, you can review mine next summer after it gets a total overhall if your ever in the Minneapolis, MN area.
Love that tweet tweet security car alarm
I like this style of review!
That seems like a future classic
Great review! Will help me when I look at a blue Viggen convertible 4 sale near where I live. The seller also has a black Viggen coupe, highly modified with Stage 3 etc. Many thanks
YES KYLE YES 🙌🏼🙌🏼
I think the only thing this car needs is an aftermarket exhaust and a slightly more aggresive rear dif.
But overall, the car is amazing!
I wanna move to North Carolina where its still light out at 11 PM. XD
Also my sister lives there so its not like I would be alone.
Great review, if you ever get the wheels off it would be great to see the braking system on the back and front and the suspension if possible.
Doug will have a field day with the quirks.
Nice review but I missed one cool detail, the reverse lights in the front turn signals. A lot of people buy "US blinkers" for their Saab´s here in Europe but forget to retrofit the reverse light. I have it on my 93 2000, looks awesome.
Makes me miss my tuned Viggen coupe 2001. Sold it 6 months ago.
liquidreality No, it was lightning blue. I'm Swedish, so I had it here, at home, in Sweden. They are quite rare here as well.
zakkara1 lol, cool, I bought mine recently from a guy who had it for about 6 months, figured small world and all
liquidreality oh I see! A word of advice, don't sell it! You'll regret it, haha.
zakkara1 hell no! It's a weekend car, I commute with a tuned '05 9-3. Would never dream of parting with either
More SAABs! Cmon it's in your name!
Please review the 2018 Elantra GT Sport Kyle, id love to check that out
Thanks for posting, nice review!
Nice. I have some experience with 9-3 Aeros and nearly bought a Viggen hatchback. The gearing on your car seems odd to me. Have you verified the speed via GPS?
Bro if you're ever in Dubai you should check out a place called tumini classics maybe you can come film of their cars
That reverse lock out feature on the Saabs confused me so much at first when I drove one with a manual transmission. I was like how do I get the car into reverse. Eventually I looked it up online. Cool car btw
I love seeing these cars being g appreciated. If you ever get the chance, would you review an og 9-5 02-09? Or the "Edna" face lift 06-09?
I'd consider selling my soul for a pristine Viggen coupe in blue or yellow
Honestly, this car is really cool. How are you liking this compared to the other SAAB you owned?
My name is Kyle, I also love Saabs and I drive this car. lol
Nice!!! Sorry but I forgot but what was your other Saab you had some years back?
I found sum rims off of one of these and they’re in perfect condition , r they worth anything ??
I remember reading the review about this model in my Car & Driver when it came out. I remember being impressed by the stock amount of boost it made (I wanna say it was, like, 23? psi from the factory. Compared to the few other turbo competitors in the same market, THAT was alot of boost for a stock motor)
However, after knowing that figure, I was a little let down by the power output:
I expected a bit more power from a motor that's got over 20 lbs. of boost being shoved down it's throat....so, I don't get it.
BUT-- I would ABSOLUTELY LOVE to have a well-cared for example.
Kyle I own the EXACT same car. Mine is even a 2002. Where did you find one with less than 100k on it??
Those fender viggen badges you have are ebay aftermarket. Also your seats are prestine, take good care of them.
That's awesome! Yeah they are, I bought them. The originals were peeling, as they all do. The new ones are actually made of metal instead of plastic, WAY nicer than the OE badges!
Saabkyle04 I still have my original badges. One is kind of chipped, the other is perfect. Enjoy the car, you may not even want to sell it. That's how it is for me, other cars have come and gone, but this one stays.
Great review, really as always :D
Also never heard about the 9-3 viggen before even though i owned a regular 9-3- turbo before... oh well
If you ever get your hands on one, i´d love to see you review a Mitsubishi EA0 Galant VR4 by the way :D
Aircraft engineers definitely designed this car, their fingerprints are everywhere!
I have the same saab 9-3 2002 2.0t at home. What have you for an exhaust? And what did you changed
Kyle! Please go back to your older style video of going to different dealerships and reviewing different cars! I enjoyed those much better than the press car type videos! Cheer.
Saab driving saab. Hell yea! ;)
Hey SAABKYLE when are you going to make a review on the all-new 2018 toyota camry ?
Can you consider doing a review on the Cadillac Escalade hybrid/GMC Yukon Hybrid?
Cannot get any better than Saabkyle reviewing a Saab!
ChrisFix HII CHRISS !!
hows the thunderbird doing
What a time we live in!
Ay what’s up Chris?!
Chris fix your comment.. Its SaabKyle04*
