Interesting that KNR has an official live stream of their programmes on YT. I have checked today what's there. Mostly documentaries, advertising boards like these above, boards with TV guide and interludes between programms, for example driving in Greenland or even a live transmission qith the sunset (!). They even have news programme, which lasts 15 mins. KNR programme starts every day at 7 PM (GMT -3).

I love the cheap promo loops some stations have. In America you only find them at hotels

It’s not, but the about section of this channel says it has “exotic tv stations”. I assume that means Greenland too.

Hey I know this is weird, but I've been watching your videos for months and just subscribed a day or so ago. this is an awesome channel; insanely fascinating, I don't know why. I'm just a nerd. It's so alien to me. Thank you for sharing these unique videos. Really.

Btw are they speaking Danish or Greenlandic? I speak fluent German, French, and Arabic. This sounds like French with Arabic. Once again, you're the only person that uploads this insanely awesome stuff. Keep it up,bro

      Hi,
I think its greenlandic what the two ladies in the childrens broadcast speak, even though it sounds a little bit danish influenced.

The clip "Jullerup Færgeby" at the end is in Danish, though.

Why do they still all have those Scandinavian names if they wanna be independent?

Some Greenlanders are mixed Inuit-Danish, with I think about 12% of the population being Danes

From what I've read, It's actually a common phenomenon across Inuit cultures - names are thought to have power, and by taking the names of the Europeans they believed it would bring them to the same status.
