- Monkey Life S14 E01 Full Episode:: Concern grows for chimp Kalu, who was recently rescued from South Africa. Alison calls in two consultant surgeons to operate on Kalu to remove her gallbladder, it’s the first time the surgeons have operated on a chimpanzee but wildlife vet John Lewis is on hand to assist. At Hananya’s, the addition of a felled oak tree gets the whole troop interested and active. While saki monkeys, Desmond and Chloe get to grips with sunflower heads and the autumn leaves are falling for the parks squirrel monkey group.

I so appreciate and applaud Alison's remarks and reaction to those who find fault with trying to save Kalu. Humans destroyed her, as they do so many animals in nature. Alison is rightfully fighting for the life of Kalu, because Kalu is the victim and deserves an advocate. Alison and those at Monkey World are alleviating her suffering in the most humane way possible. Thank you for your tireless efforts.

Most of them had been living abusive lives or with people who didn't have the knowledge to care for their pet properly.

Super bummed. I just found monkey life a little bit ago and absolutely fell in love with it! Unfortunately I was only like in season 5. It seems that when the added season 14 all the other seasons are now gone. Except some of 12 and 13. Hope they can bring them back so I can go back to where I left off. 😢

That jackass in SA: who was first wanting rid of Kalu, threatening euthanasia, then wanting to hold her hostage to extort MW - thought they were going to make money with her. We witnessed instead, how Alison spared no expense and made every effort to give Kalu the very best care. Costing a huge some of money and emotional commitment from her and the keepers. Just like they've done with so many rescues. It's tragically not going to work out out, but it will never stop them for trying again with other primates around the world needing rescue, healthcare, rehabilitation and a home.

The park has always been called Monkey World and still is, but the show has always been called Monkey Life and still is. No mandela effect. There has always been a discrepancy between the name of the show and the name of the park itself.
