I had a friend who had a golden retriever & a white duck like the one in this video & they loved playing together. They'd be outside in the yard, & the duck would waddle up to the retriever & nip him on the neck, & then run off. That was the duck's hint that he wanted to play "chase", & off the two of them would go, the duck half-running & half-flying to keep the game at the dog's pace, & the joy you felt coming from these two great friends was truly infectious; an absolute pleasure to watch that lifted everyone's spirits no matter what kind of day you were having until then!

He is a very animated duck. We had ducks as pets when I was in my childhood. My parents absolutely adored the ducks and their chickens and treated them just like people treat their cats and dogs. After you get to know the the personality start coming out and there's always one with a really strong personality.. so yeah I would say that duck is a special duck. Seriously. When my children were young, they wanted pets. We bought 4 ducklings; they all grew up together, and in the summer shared a paddling pool! The ducks liked to watch tv. The bond between the children and the ducks was amazing and full of joy. Such happy times.
We had a little kitty that looked just like this one. My husband called her “Butters”🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️ She would lay on the bed on her back, all sprawled out for a nap with our 3 weenie dogs doing the same. She slept in our round bathroom sink for a long time no matter how nice we made her little kitty bed. Full of antics! RIP Butters. She gave us alot of laughs and joy. This video is adorable!!

Their harmonious relationship is a result of the absence of conflict throughout their lives, thus influencing their behavior in this manner. You will not see these guys acting like this in their natural environment, a wild cat will probably end up eating them.

All of these animals are so cute and gracious to one another! They really are very loving and respectful to other species of animals even though they may notably not be compatible but adversarial, i.e., a cat and a bird, dog and cat, etc.
Love this. That cat is the coolest most laid back chill. A little kinky as well. Lol. The ducks are hilarious. Totally taking advantage of a feline furry stuffed sofa...with claws. Nature took a holiday.
