That's the weight of most tractor trailers without the trailer attached, and the minimum horsepower for most tractors is 425, they range from 425 to 600 stock. So save yourself about $400,000 and just buy you a Kenworth and have it armor plated. $200,000 for a custom Kenworth with 600 horsepower, and about $100,000 having it armored plated.
Armoured windows can only take so many bullets before it cracks and breaks / shatters. This vehicle being so slow (350 hp motor (same power as in Nissan 370z tiny car) for a 6 ton vehicle !!) that assailants can shoot a dozen bullets easily and get through. That is why you need gun ports to shoot back.
Car guys... you are making military guys laugh, you don't understand the difference between torque and horse power, sure it won't go up to 100kmh in 4 sec, but mate, it has enough torque to get going. The Humvees have 170 HP but 300 torques, nobody is whining it's not fast enough when getting shot at.
it is a diesel engine... has enough torque to make it go, horsepower isn't everything, really its just a product of torque, like a lot of diesel engines they dont have a whole lot of horsepower but have the torque to move the weight, also the torque numbers in this video is wrong, it has 660ft lbs torque.

but speed correlates directly to the ratio of weight to hp. a 1:1 ratio (hp:weight) is ideal like the Koenigsegg One for example. but that truck thing right there has a ratio of 1:43 which equals to one engine of the Koenigsegg One powering 43 Koenigsegg One chassis.
oh and since the Prius has 121 hp and a 3000 lbs chassis, its ratio is 1:25 which should imply that it is definitely faster than a car with a 1:43 ratio. if both were to be equal the Prius should have a hp of 70.

For everyone discussing the lack of power and armour, these are only the public specs. Each vehicle is built to suit the customer’s needs. One option on these things is its own air system to survive chemical attack. I feel confident enough to say that it would be relatively I.E.D proof and would be able to take multiple 50cal rounds into the windows let alone the doors etc. Only a potential buyer would get close to the true specs.

they have plastic inserts inside the tires I believe. so if the tire gets shot and looses pressure the wheel will be ridding on the hard plastic inside the tire instead of just flopping the tire around ridding on the rim. Just for you have a idea, every people that have a Audi, BMW, Jaguar, Land/Range Rover, must to have a armoured car. These countrys of the third world, those cars are considered "cars of rich peoples". And for those peoples the chance of kidnapping or some thing like this ir very big. The car armoured in Brazil have the price of, $200,000 or more deppending on the mark of the car, if was a Audi A3 Sedan or any BMW the price is... $130,000 of the car + $70,000 (or more deppending of the support bullets) of the armour. As if were not enough the bandits, the governament and market steal the peoples. Its a true shy.
