+James Oliver Calip Its always been the in thing. Just a lot of hipsters getting into it now. These guys are legit. Even if the chopper scene died, this family would still continue to build and ride. They and some others are into it for the right reasons.

A hipster in the widest sense is someone who pretends to like something even though they don't really, just to appear quirky or special to their environment. Most people you see building choppers are not Hipsters, simply because a Hipster wouldnt have the passion necessary to go the lengths it would take to build a chopper. People who do it in general believe in that shit.
I'd love to get invited to born free one year, there's no better feeling to me than finishing a bike, I'd love to build an old shovel pan or knuck, but for now I'm trying to make these old ironheads look good, maybe one day I'll win the lottery and be able to build some bad ass shit lol
Start small for the race at times is not all ways to the swift at time its wone in the pits by the crew chief take your time and build from the heart after all new is nice at times but if it's old and still works well then use it After all when was the last time you saw someone toss- out old tools just to buy new ones if they worked there's lots of swap meets and over a few years who knows its possible to build a show stopper or just what some would call a Rat Rod/ Bike thas safe, runs well and can take you from cost to cost with just minor work
Love your work and love bikes did 4 K in 30 days once after [ Deal HD ] build my 72 Sporter Motor I learn to keep it alive on the road from looking down and seeing Oil pouring out like blood at a stop light in NC or hitting the start Button one night in FL and seeing sparks like the 4 of July fireworks or turn the throttle and the engine just Stays at Iddle so I chip off the ICE from the Slide on my S&U Carb in light mist and near freezing temps. Aircraft are not the only engines were the Carb Ice can build Up. A biker with a heart can come in many forms from those like me that have to Turn a wrench or Two, My cat name peach's took to my Honda Showder like a duck takes to water and got more than a few looks at times and she love to set at the Tent opening watching Sky Divers landing in Zelph Hills Fl - I all ways wonder what she was thinking A true bicker takes time to learn for not all true bikers had the freedom to walk off and ride full time some find it later in life and may work 9-5 or 4 - 12 five days a week. and have no ideal but pick up a machine and hit the road in life and just like a hardcore biker face the wind, rain, cars, wile life and the oil spill on the road, But they all so fill the freedom and the power that comes from twisting the throttle, seeing the world from two wheels and at times breaking down in the middle of no were, Or stopping into a bar after a few hours on the road for a cool one Yours have to love those that take the time to help or build bikes in a small shop or stand all day maching parts and kiss there kids at night Love the post thanks
