To prevent ripping of lace you can use a seam ripper to take off the bands underneath.This came out dope!!!

@@slayedbyjordan yes Its a game changer. Seamtress use it to rip the seam out of clothes. Basically IT HELPS TO CUT THE THINNESt OF THREAD BE CAREFUL THOUGH CAUSE ITS REAL SHARP BUT ITLL MAKE THE PROCESS QUICKER AND LESS TO NO HOLES IN LACE.

Yes depending on the stylist. Your installs could last up to a month with proper care.
