Thank you! There are days, where I want to pull my hair out to get my 7 year old to do school. She has younger brothers and wants to play with them instead of sitting down and doing a lesson. Even though we do school for about an hr and the rest is interest led, games, field trips or whatever floats her boat.
Today looks like winter outside and we are all kind of tired. I lit my big candle and we’re going to pull out some games for getting cozy and gameschooling.
Thanks for the video! My son resists most days! I definitely try and figure out what the cause is and then add in more “free time” or “breaks” for him. It may take us longer then needed but if he is happy, he is more receptive to learning. I also find that he is in a better mindset for learning early in the day vs afternoon or evening so I definitely focus on the core material and save the fun activities for later in the day!
50% of our days they do not want to do school... Doesn't matter how fun I make it or how often I change routine...done it all...tried it all I've just accepted it as part of life 🤷♀️ We've done school outside which was a disaster...complete distractions 🤣
