Thanks Rob for the review I always wondered about them feral rods I've seen the at Canadian tire but I thought it looked like a gadget that wouldn't work but now I know il be getting some 👍 and I guess it's been a will since you used the little stove forgot how to put it together 🤪 I'm like that also from season to season it's like how did I do that last time 😜 well nice to see you about are lake's are still frozen yet but it shouldn't be long. We use ferro rods every time we take students out. We’ve got a few different brands we use. One student had the Woods one.

Yea I love to use them I’ve always used the bigger ones but I got to say these small ones work perfectly

@@newfiecountryboyoutdoors6523 Corlane Sporting Goods is donating a dozen Smith brand ones. Cheaper smaller ones but I’ll do a review. We do fire building stations so we have 25-30 kids using them so we go through lots of strikes.

That is a great little rig . Not sure if you can answer this question or not . Is fishing open on the Avalon we came out Sunday from town i seen a guy fishing . I know this way it is close . Until next time stay safe

Thanks. The season closed on April 15 and it will be open back up on may 15 tho you can still fish for sea trout in coastal waters
