[MXD 2022] Zahina Round 7 (Dragon County)

Story:
Shahrazad’s concentration is interrupted by a familiar voice. Her father… What’s he doing here? He notices something not quite right. Shahrazad is bleeding! What happens? And so, her story begins. Still feeling uneased at Zahina’s word of warning, Shahrazad pushes that aside for now. Remembering the level of concern Marie gave a while back. Even if they were in different bodies. After giving Marie the new cloak the two start to hear commotion from inside the cottage.
After seeing the horror inside, the cottage Shahrazad asks on the run what happened. Cade, those viably upset tell her. Seeing the almost immediate hypocrisy she doesn’t know what or who to trust.
Contestants can’t catch a break as now they are in a new area of horror… Dragon Country! Shahrazad however is interrupted by her old friend. Excited to hear about the dragon but surprised by Shahrazad’s lack of interest in it. She continues her story and is not too surprised that most of the adults want the dragon’s head.
She tries to hide from Mary-Lu, as she thinks she and Arya are plotting together. Shahrazad’s hunger overshadows her distrust when she thinks a cluster of dragon eggs is fruit. The fight outside carried its way to the nest, as Shahrazad is interrupted again, this time its Froststar.
Froststar teases her for thinking the eggs were melons. Before Shahrazad gets back to her story Froststar tells her “No parent would abandon their child, no matter what.” Why do those words sound familiar?
Shahrazad manages to get one of the eggs to safety before getting distracted by something. This proves to be an error in judgment. While examining a locket the baby dragon hatched is looking for something to eat… her.
Scared with claw marks she is now comforted by… Zahina?
Zahina tells her to snap out of it to do what she’s been avoiding all this time. Inflicting more pain in order to survive.

This was such an interesting round! It was a really cool choice to have Shahrazad retelling what happened to various people from her past. It let you tell events in a unique way and really gave us insight on her character and how it is changing. I also really liked her whole plot with the egg! I think this is one of my favorite rounds you've done
