Thank you for the upload. Much appreciated from the viewers from the unfortunate countries that has been geoblocked.
use vpn
Makes absolutely no sense to geoblock anyone because everyone can just use a VPN to watch it... When will these b*st*rds realize this and stop this b*llsh*t?
Actually phenomenal technical performance from taisei homma
Toby really has that champions fight that gets him those few extra centimetres beyong the rest...such an awesome characteristic to have - along with the world class technique and strength
Especially with how he struggled at the first crux!
Incredible fight by Toby Roberts at the end wow!!!!!!!
Toby a joy to watch. What a warrior he is. not the first time we have watched him really fish through hard moves. he’s got the tenacity to go all the way in Paris
thanks for posting this bro
I appreciate the upload, fellow.
Cheers from Brazil
AMAZING JOB TOBY LFG
fantastic commitment from Toby, really clever climbing, re thinking tricky bits, respect.
When I worked in Nagoya in Japan I went to the AIM wall. Those climbers there trained harder than I have seen any Brit training. Toby going to Japan to train was a good idea.
Belayer short roping all the climbers - nice
Man that lower crux was brutal
No music is so weird
How was the tiebreak decided between 1st and 2nd places?
from qualification placement I guess
time
my bad, qualification placement first, and if tied then time
I miss not hearing the sound from the audience
highlight
At least 5.14b/c
Wish Adam Ondra was here! I love watching him climb. He's such a dynamic climber!
Why wasn’t he?
Isn't Adam Ondra known for doing dynamic moves in a static way? lol
Is there a reason why almost every comp is just Europe + Japan & China? Almost no (South) American entries.
Climbing is an expensive sport, unfortunately we in Latin America don't have enough support or high level gyms to be competitive
Well there's also no entries from Africa. Also usually no one from Australia.
Terrible audio damn
great commentators - some goons complaining about them? wha???
"Mens" ?
Yes, mens' as in plural of the possessive.
Is it just me or is the belayer doing an absolutely horrible job? Keeping the rope tight, short roping all the time, etc…
Bad setting job. Bad belayer = FAIL.
Please get another commentator...this guy is a clown...
Be careful what you wish for :') could be (and has been) much muuuuuuuuuuuch worse
I like him :]
@@robtournadre Really!?!
Stupid comment. What did you not like?
This was maybe not his best job. Also depends on who's co-commentating.
But he's actually become quite good at it IMO.
Charlie was better but Matt's getting there. Keep it up.
