you may have to adjust the carburettor, i had the same problem, on my delta, my moped has hand shifting too, and befiore the carb was regulated it didnt have enough power. Could be that one of the wheel bearings are bad, so they create more friction.

I just rebuild that mini. So all bearing are good.
But never now sometimes new are faulty 😉
