Scotty she should have married him because everyone said Elvis didn't want to marry anyone but you said Elvis asked her and l believe you know your stuff about him, even when the Memphis Mafia said it was Ann Margaret but we all know fate had a different outcome. But Elvis married Priscilla and they had Lisa Marie. Love your accuracy of his acting career. 🥰💕❤👑💫🔥🍾🥂👏
Thank you very much Scotty for taking the time to do another fantastic review I have seen the other two versions of This film and they are both very good dramas. I think this excellent film would be in most fans top five love the music as for Elvis seeming like a co-Star I think maybe that he is part of a very strong ensemble cast . I think the cast of this film is the strongest cast experience wise that he ever worked with right down to the smaller parts in the film and he holds his own. PS love the cap and thank you.
Yes Jack you are probably right..it was a great cast..it’s very difficult to meet everyone’s expectations on a film review particularly if it’s your particular favourite..there are films of his I really like that others don’t..but that’s the beauty of it all..however the one thing we can agree on is he did his very best that he could given the time frames and pressures put on him.. Thankyou😊
Thanks Scotty for your reply I actually used my Son Jack’s Account and forgot to put my name at the end my son is a huge fan of Frank Sinatra Dean Martin Bobby Darrin Neil Sedaka Barry Manilow Liberace and thinks Elvis is pretty good too cheers Carl

Hi there, hope all is well.. Thanks for this great video, Scottie.. Really appreciate all your efforts you put into your great channel... Regards from Australia..✅👌👋🍺⛱️🌅🇦🇺
Good job Scotty I really like Kid Galahad. But I love all of Elvis movies there is a couple I don't like but anything with Elvis in them well I can tolerate. 😊❤😊. Thanks again Scotty I really appreciate all you do.
Hi Scotty, great film review of one of Elvis's good films! He still had some hope in becoming a great actor in 1961, I think by 1963 that ship was starting to take on water! I have this film and enjoy watching it every now and then, good songs! Love seeing the return of your captains hat, looks cool! I don't understand the insecurity though, he had everything working for him, looks, voice, girls, money, fame, health, the only thing dragging him down was that tub of lard Parker! Anyway nice review of movie and songs. Thanks!! ✌🏼😎✌🏼
I think he knew the writing was on the wall as early as GI Blues..then after the two dramatic roles they then put him in Blue Hawaii..that was confirmation..that’s why the 60s movies lacked the vibrancy of the Elvis 50s Actor..However as I’ve always maintained he did the very best job that he could..I love all the films..I’m just an Elvis admirer come what may 😊
your presentations are very good the Elvis films in themselves are very interesting if you are a fan. You should try doing a full UK tour maybe a 2hr gig Would go down well at certain UK towns where there is a known fan base.
Brilliant film - amazing fight scenes in HD. Good work Scott. Played that LP to death as a kid - not sure why as there better ones but there some killer tracks Wonderful Life!
Scotty, another absolute gem sir. Kid Galahad, continues to be and will remain, one of my true Elvis movie favorites. Terrific song list, wonderful combination of drama and mild comedic moments. And what I've always felt was one of Elvis's better offerings. Scotty, greatly appreciate the snipits of additional information you provide in regards to various supporting actresses and actors. And if I may, two additional actors to this particular film were Ed Asner and David Lewis. And while their character names momentarily escape me, both went on to more substantial success here in the United States. Mr. Lewis would achieve more recognizable fame as a long running character on the soap opera General Hospital. And Mr. Asner would enjoy both Theatrical and Television success in movies such as El Dorado and small screen popularity in shows The Mary Tyler Moore show and Lou Grant. While this particular period in Elvis's movie career would unfortuanately harken to what was to come. I felt and still feel, Follow That Dream, Galahad and Girls Girls Girls were very enjoyable fare. And each and every time I view one of the three, they bring a smile to my lips and a laugh to my day. Scotty, a true pleasure to be a part of the community that both yourself and Craig have established. And I'm so very grateful for all of the time and effort that both you gentlemen apply to each and every episode. Continued success my friend. A fan and subscriber. Mike Beal 🙂🙂🙂
Hey thanks as always Mike.. Very much can count on your support my friend That’s why I know the channel is watched by good people..good hearted people..you are one sir..Thankyou Great comment😊
Great show from you Scotty, I enjoyed Kid Galahad, and the songs, I must admit that the first time I saw the Movie was a couple of years ago, and surprised how well Elvis’ acted. TLC for TCB. Thanks !!!!
Like always Scotty, a great video! By all a counts Elvis was not happy with Gig Young, with the way he treated Elizabeth Montgomery. When she came up to stay on Location. He made friends with her, he told her she should leave him as he became Violent towards her. When he was drunk! Ellie 🎼🎵🎶🕺🏻🙂
Great value to the show..thanks Eleanor.. Don’t think she was a great beauty like some of his leading ladies he’d encountered.. But I know he really liked her😊
That’s interesting. Young was a really good actor but had a lot of problems. Three weeks after marrying his fifth wife, he murdered her and committed suicide.
Hi Scotty...Great video and very entertaining....I kinda agree elvis seemed a bit out of sorts in this movie but still a decent film...keep them coming Scotty they are a real tonic my friend...and the gay sister's film I think I may have seen that in my youth aswell 🤣 on a more serious note awesome and loved every second...love and respect..TCB🤙👑
😂😂Thankyou my friend.. Yes it’s hard to put a finger on but it lacks the 50s film performances..had this been done in the 50s it would have been a much different film I’m sure😊
Elvis also proposed to Debra paget too ... I wonder if there were anymore 😉 How can someone be so insecure .. he had everything .... off topic .. when he met Ali didn't he knock him down 🤣Great one scotty 😊Vicky
Thanks so much for your videos. I enjoy them immensely. Maybe Elvis felt a bit insecure with all the men in this film. Yes, he had roles with women but in other films that’s what always seemed to be the main theme & we all know how much he loved and felt more comfortable with women. Saw Through his eyes 27 & I absolutely loved it.
This movie is favorite of mine ! Evis did a great job in this film. All the music is great too. Lamar was a first class jerk always quick to make snide remarks about his friend. Elvis. After he died it was like they all were made at him for dying !. He wouldn't even have never met. Conrad or anyone else remotely famous if it weren't for that insecure person named. Elvis. In fact no one would even know his name! Sorry. Scotty just don't care for most of the guys. Elvis surrounded himself with. Another great review leep them coming.
Hey man don’t apologise I don’t particularly care for some of them..apart from a few of them I think he probably needed to chose his friends more wisely..but I think he knew what each one was about.. Thanks Harry
Hi, you seem like a great guy. Plan on following you and donating in the future as well. Scotty is your name, I take it, and from England? Just wondering my friend, while how you became an Elvis fan would be an interesting video. God bless. Christopher Tyler - Washington D.C.

Sylvester Stallone said that when he took his script for Rocky to United Artists, it was rejected because "Boxing pictures are money losers. The last one we made lost money, and it had Elvis f-ing Presley as the star, and you're definitely no Elvis Presley." They originally wanted a more well-known actor for the lead. Imagine if Elvis got back into shape to play Rocky...
late to the party, but this was great - background on one the good ones, didn't know he and Joan dated, and your musical interludes were delightful. thanks Scotty, always good stuff

Elvis forever melhor cantor do mundo 🕺👑❤️👍
Hi Carl😊
I love the way he straightens his hair in the ring at 20:14. Bet he didn't learn that from Mushy Callahan.
Great work, as ever, bud.
Hey yes that’s a Presley touch if ever there was one😊
Thanks buddy😊
An underrated elvis song. Romantic and cute 🤟
I saw kid Galahad at First in 1978 in a Movie Theater in Hamburg Germany . Sold out and my Friends are with Mr .
And it was my second Elvis Album.
Thank you a lot for your posting .
Gruß aus Hamburg Germany

Really appreciate all your efforts you put into your great channel...
Regards from Australia..✅👌👋🍺⛱️🌅🇦🇺
Good day and thankyou 😊
Good job Scotty I really like Kid Galahad. But I love all of Elvis movies there is a couple I don't like but anything with Elvis in them well I can tolerate. 😊❤😊. Thanks again Scotty I really appreciate all you do.
You are very welcome Nancy😊
Played that LP to death as a kid - not sure why as there better ones but there some killer tracks Wonderful Life!
i read that the Whistling tune had a lot of takes due a fit of giggles from Elvis and Joan..
I know that was the case on Home Is Where The Heart Is..in fact all the songs she is present they are close to cracking😉
Scotty,
another absolute gem sir.
Scotty,
a true pleasure to be a part of the community that both yourself and Craig have established. And I'm so very grateful for all of the time and effort that both you gentlemen apply to each and every episode.
Continued success my friend.
A fan and subscriber.
Mike Beal 🙂🙂🙂
Hey thanks as always Mike..
Very much can count on your support my friend
That’s why I know the channel is watched by good people..good hearted people..you are one sir..Thankyou
Great comment😊
Great show from you Scotty, I enjoyed Kid Galahad, and the songs, I must admit that the first time I saw the
Movie was a couple of years ago, and surprised how well Elvis’ acted.
Thank you, obrigado 🇧🇷👏👏👍,my favorite fase 1961, minha fase preferida.
Great Great movie!
My favourite Elvis period re: films and soundtract's continues, well done and cheers my friends! Blue Hawaii next? LOL
It’s coming Mal😉
Cool hat Scotty
Thanks bud
Home Is Where The Heart Is jumped out of the speakers. Brilliant sound, especially for a Camden album.
Of course he did😂😉
There was no way Ali was gonna Handle The Kid😂😂
That is all to come Margaret..in fact that might come next😉
Thanks so much for your videos. I enjoy them immensely. Maybe Elvis felt a bit insecure with all the men in this film. Yes, he had roles with women but in other films that’s what always seemed to be the main theme & we all know how much he loved and felt more comfortable with women. Saw Through his eyes 27 & I absolutely loved it.
Superb that’s what we want to hear..thanks Jeri😊
Keep up the great work Scotty your videos are very entertaining and you have a great personality a dedicated Elvis fan 😊
Thankyou Alan you are a gentleman 😊
I agree with your assessment of Lamar he always seem to take a jab ..Not a fan
Nice rhythm and voice Scotty😊 love that movie! I so appreciate all the information you share
I didn’t check the years but Elvis was in love with Ann margret and prisilla , now this lady, he seemed to be a serial faller in love type,
Yes Rita..you couldn’t sing like he did and not experience love of a high degree..those emotions were so evident in his vocals
Great video Scotty ...
Interesting information also ..
I love this movie 🎬 ....and the soundtrack too
Cheers 🥂
Hi, you seem like a great guy. Plan on following you and donating in the future as well. Scotty is your name, I take it, and from England? Just wondering my friend, while how you became an Elvis fan would be an interesting video. God bless. Christopher Tyler - Washington D.C.
Hey Christopher there is a video.. if you hit the following link you should take a look ..
Yes I am a great guy😂😂

Joan Blackmon and lola albright
Sylvester Stallone said that when he took his script for Rocky to United Artists, it was rejected because "Boxing pictures are money losers. The last one we made lost money, and it had Elvis f-ing Presley as the star, and you're definitely no Elvis Presley." They originally wanted a more well-known actor for the lead. Imagine if Elvis got back into shape to play Rocky...
late to the party, but this was great - background on one the good ones, didn't know he and Joan dated, and your musical interludes were delightful. thanks Scotty, always good stuff
👋Hi Scotty!
I just love your channel, you, and your sense of humor!
