Well Killing Eve had one of the worst written endings I've ever seen. It felt so disrespectful to the fans and actors, I just... What a way to ruin an amazing show.
I have so many issues with s4 and I might have been able to overlook them if it wasn't for the way they decided to end the series. I already have an issue with the "evil characters can only be redeemed by dying" trope, but if you're gonna go ahead and kill one of your main characters at least make it MEAN something, make it poetic, don't just do it for shock value cause that's really not original at this point..
This show could have had it all and I really cherish the moments of happiness Villaneve had at the end, Jodie and Sandra gave us some incredible acting and the best kiss anyone could have asked for, honestly that kiss is going down in history for me.
And as far as I'm concerned, Eve and Villanelle ended up happy and together and that's that.

Idk why but that kiss still makes me cry ... I think it was because it was one of the first kisses on film to depict accurate PASSION between two women and knowing the end ... its so fucking bitter sweet
I think I just realized what fascinates me about them: they ultimately both managed to brake out of their fate/destiny. And certainly out of all, well, conventions.
This was beautifully done. Appreciate that you didn’t include the ending ending either. You should’ve wrote/edited the actual season!

Aaaww this video is so gorgeous, and it's just so hard for me to watch knowing what happens! I'm just so angry and heartbroken, even though I'm not surprised. :/ But gah I love your videoes so much. This one is so soft. I love the way you started with Villanelle looking at Eve towards the end of the series and when they first met. It was always so sweet how much she loves Eve's hair. And the voice over parallel about how often they think about each other was perfect!
The knife moments are always sexy (I realize how that sounds). Not the actual stab scene, but just V holding the knife on Eve :D Aaaw and V saying that Eve makes her feel things. Ugh I'm not going to cry damn it. (I hate writers lol). Eeep "I want to love you but I don't know how" with Eve giving Villanelle the Buffy to Spike treatment and telling her she doesn't understand love. hehe xD
OMG the kisses and the handholding and the spinning and laughing and just plain HAPPINESS!!!! how dare they give these two a tiny glimpse of that only to destroy it?! It's like Reylo all over again. The character who was taught to be a monster and that they're unlovable their whole life finally gets a chance to be loved and then dies. What the fuck kind of message is that to put out into the worl over and over?! I just can't. (Have I mentioned I hate writers?)
This was just such a lovely tribute to them. It hurts my soul. Villanelle may have been a killer, but come on, she was a precious baby lbr! She deserved better! Beautiful job on this!!

I wish they would have killed Eve in season 2 , and saved the series ! Her character was uninteresting and so was her acting ! Considering the level of the other actors, she really missed her mark !
It must have been the writing that made Eve uninteresting. The way Villanelle was written she was going to the the most popular out of the two. Sandra did an incredible job with what she was given.
@@shizuma100 Partially agree with confusing of Eve’s character as wishy washy and distract from the original first season as if they were 2 total different series . I still disagree with Sandra doing a great job as portraying a character the writers were self destructing. Two wrongs didn’t make a right and probably the biggest series hit and crash I can think of . Either way , we went from this being one of our top selections to turning the channel and watching the weather instead or anything but .
