with your speed consumption seems not bad. do a 120kmh range test and u see alor mre range, the air resistance for every 10kmh above 80 increase by hoch4
24-26 kwt seems to me quite a normal consumption at these speeds. As I may have commented earlier, a much more representative test would be in real life mode - when we go without a cruise on a country highway in real traffic and so on. Cruise control, in principle, is an uneconomical ride, and accelerating to catch up with the average speed ... is a bit strange.
when inside the car it looks so much like a tesla. what is the cost vs a tesla. would it get the same range etc.. Is the assistant little guy any use or just a gimmick
This comparison is nonsense. Sorry. Tesla is a chep bulid mass car. Nio offers better materials and higher quality features. Nobody would compare a VW Golf with a Mercedes C Class. The only thing they have in common is that they are electric cars.
NIO is absolutely amazing, Tesla is no where near the quality that NIO offers, I can't wait till NIO arrives to the US, battery swap is a game changer.
Old battery tech, NIO needs to leverage our extensive 300-350 kW charging network aside from its battery swap. Chinese battery tech should be leading instead of lagging behind.
I am sorry but those figures are inexcusably poor. A 100 KWhr NCM battery with only 90 available is bad enough, but the WLTP figs have to be reduced by 10% for a full charge and the battery should not be regularly charge above 80% and discharged below 10%, giving a range of 320 Km of combined driving. Pathetic. My Mazda 2 turbo diesel cruises at 120 kmph and uses 4li/100km on a 44 li tank, ie 1100 km. My Mazda cost E17,000 and not E70,000. Diesel rules for long distance driving and my 125cc scooter does the commuting at 1.4 li/100km.
Wow, you travel 1100km every day? That's a lot. And if you don't, why would you need that range?? I drive 60000km per year, so I had to refuel my Diesel at least once a week. Now I start with a full battery every morning, I only use public charging maybe once every year. And by the way, a Porsche 911 Turbo S also has less range than your Mazda 2 and it costs at least 10 times as much, but they are completely different vehicles... Why would you compare your Mazda 2 to an ET5???? There are literally cheaper (and smaller) electric vehicles with more range available today.
Just checking once again what's on your music playlist and just added "King of Diamonds" also to my playlist :)
At that speed it's really not bad ... Add battery swap in longer trips and it's not even a concern.
Thanks for the test!
Range seems to be not that bad for such combination of size and tires.
Looks nice 👍
i want this car
„Shpeed” :) Instantly imagined how it was as if Clarkson had always pronounced it that way 😂
Great video. Would you have used battery swap instead of Charging for this trip if it was available..

I test all cars at this speed to compare.
Range for this battery size is not great.
Id.4 gets 350 km with a 77 battery, modelY 370 km with 75 battery
It is like comparing a Dacia vs BMW and say the sonsumption of that BMW is so bad.@@BatteryLife
Not sure why the range is sucha concern when you can swap the battery 🔋 in 5 minutes
Not many swap stations yet. And it will cost a bit at some point.
you can change the battery range with battery swap lol
Bulky steering wheel. Nice looking car.

fuck 😂 battery we interested in speed drive handling mainly
The huge wide tires isnt helping much.

Tidy up the footwell n passenger seat 🤦♀️
It's not about being cool or old, I will not choose a Tesla Plaid over a Taycan, it will never happen
Range is a bummer
it pretty standard range for a 100kwh battery ... idk what you expected ... highway range is allways lower than combined usage
