The tyres were very warm. Also, warming the tyres is really only helpful if there are traction issues. The GT-R is all-wheel drive and doesn't suffer major wheelspin, as you can see (keep in mind we did multiple runs - this video is just one of many).

A 911 GT3 can take longer to stop from 100km/h than a Commodore SS V Redline, if the brakes aren't warmed up. Very high performance brakes require some heat to get the most out of them (especially carbon ceramics). Maybe even the tyres could use some heat.
Not correct? The times are directly from a Racelogic Vbox Sport which runs a 20Hz GPS system. It's not about if they are 'correct'. Our times are simply what we achieved from this specific test car. Would you prefer we lie and just make up the times?

The Brakes that GT R does use are not ceramics brakes.....thats why it's breaking is not precise like 911 brakes...the Porsche uses ceramics brakes
