Saying ‘muse sits nicely in my range’ is such a flex. I love it.
Unearned flex, the verse is all falsetto in the original, this vocalist can't maintain falsetto that long without cracking.
Not that Matthew Bellamy is the pinnacle of this subgenre of rock vocals anyways. Check out the band Trip Switch.

It's crazy, their music teacher definitely influenced this bands sound. When I first heard them, I immediately thought of Muse. Especially on the song Casanova.

Kinda blows my mind to hear that they barely liked or even knew much of Muse. ‘Heroine’ (the full album) to me, sounds like a massive blend of Muse and Deftones influence.
