ISTG One of the best things in BTS's slowed down songs is that you can hear the small details and the background vocals clearly and especially when you wear headphones. Lie is a beautiful underrated song, it deserves more recognition. When I wore the headphones and listened to this, I heard small vocals of jimin in the background which pair the song so good, I kept replaying the vocal part in the background.

This song feels like a devil falling in love with an angel...their relationship was so toxic..but they were madly in love with each other. But everything suddenly started to fall apart..they seduced each other only to be closer. They only wanted themselves..each night passed, it got worse.. They both got caught in a lie...in a lie which is "there is happiness when evil and goodness stays together."
