Vanna white is 66 years old. Shes been on the show for 40 years. She hasn't gotten a raise in nearly two decades. When you hear Wheel of Fortune, you always think Pat Sajak and Vanna White. We don't know how long Pat will stay. We also don't know who the next host will be. And it may be her with her daughter changing the tiles. I would pay her atleast we know where this is going.
how does she ever get by only making 3 million a year for 48 days of "work", the people making $15hr or less are feeling her pain.

The number one advocate for wage equity for Vanna White should've been be Pat Sajak a decades ago. It makes me wonder how he treats her when the cameras are off.

Boomers & above loved Sajak, Gen X literally created Seacrest’s career. Sony is looking forward Vanna’s contract negotiation is for nostalgic continuity on the show, no matter what even if the show survives she’ll be let go in a year or two.

I haven't watched this since I was a kid but I think that the only reason anyone would watch the show specifically to see her was lost to the ages at least 20 years ago.
She's aged great but seriously. She's 67 years old and she was hired specifically for sex appeal. Pat was never sexy. It might have been a good idea to have replaced Pat with her as the host though. Although she'd probably retire herself within 10 years.

That’s not how it works. She signed contracts that are approved by her lawyers so if there is a lawsuit, it would be against the law firm representing her.
I know in hindsight we all know she makes more than any normal person and has an easy job, I totally get that......but put yourself in her shoes, if you made the exact same salary or hourly rate for 18 years without a raise, you'd be pissed off too.....esspecially know your male counterpart makes 5 times your salary. Nirnally Id say this is just a celebrity being greedy......but in this case, I totally agree that she deserves more. I couldn't imagine the show without her and I hope she gets what she deserves. You could honestly break this very moment down into the most simple work dynamics of our customer service and retail representatives. Having worked 25 years in retail as a male in a female dominated feild- I'm aware the pay grade is different- yet the workload is unbalanced because of any type of manual labor thats required automatically gets shrugged into the shoulders of the male while the female simply gets credit for directing it. I understand it's a stretch, but is a realistic comparison of the gravity needed for not only recognition but compensation....
