- UAV video of the airsoft skirmish at Anzio camp in May. First and Only Airsoft run some of the best games at some really interesting and exciting venues. Anzio camp is a former military training camp situated in Leek Staffordshire and after years of neglect, abuse and vandalism is being used exclusively for the purpose of high quality airsoft open days and events.

I was well impressed with this vid. I've been considering a Parrot AR drone and using my tablet to pilot it. Though now I look at the cons you've put, I might just give it a miss.

yes, the gimbal is controlled by the NAZA controller, quadcopter tilts left, gimbal moves right to compensate and stay level, 4 second delay gopro? are you talking about the wifi connection? you wouldnt be able to just leave the phantom hovering and then start playing, it wouldnt be safe in a game, you need someone on the controller at all times and ideally a second man who can keep his eyes on your periphery

tips for airsoft, good boots, goretex lined preferred, really doing your research before spending money on kit, such a lot of it goes unused.... dont be afraid to get stuck in, youll get more out of the game that way

Oh so the gimbal moves on it's own to keep the camera at the angle you have set? Sweet. I can see the realtime FPV is very important, but I think I'll start off with the 4 second delay GoPro3 until I can afford it. What I'd like to do is get the Phantom Quadcopter, which can stay almost still, set it at particular angles AS I play, so that it can capture me when I'm playing as well as my buds.
ive got my own site called the Armory in Wrexham, 60 acres of old ammunition factory, bunkers and buildings :) i sometimes play at Anzio camp and Drakelow nuclear bunker when I get 5 minutes to get away, good luck with the channel, feel free to ask questions

the gimbal is set up to auto level so the camera stays as steady as I can get it, yes on realtime FPV to a screen on top of the controller :) i quite like yellow

ive noticed BBs bouncing off it a couple of times during filming, no damage although some of the plastics surrounding the receiver/tx units dont look too strong so I try and discourage this

Ah that's a shame. So can you adjust the axis of the gimbal as you control it? And do you have a realtime FPV remote cam so you can see from the drone? What's your favourite colour?
DJi F450 with a 2axis gimbal for the gopro, ive only just got it back in the air again, it kissed the ass of a agricultural machine and it didnt like it :(

how much can you afford to spend? a entry model phantom is about $700, add a few batteries, charger, fpv system, brushless gimbal, and youre at about $1500, but you can keep spending and buying bigger, more stable and better quality cameras so it can start getting really costly, I also had a expensive crash recently, so you have to have money aside for either repair or total loss say if it went down in water or had a fly away

Absolutely love your videos mate. You've got yourself a subscription and some likes. May I ask what type of drone you're using? Does it have a separate moving gimble, or is the camera fixed? I'm also trying new stuff with airsoft videos, rather than just the regular headcam stuff. I play cameraman during games, and I use a 3rd Person POV rig. Check out my channel for more ;)
