I think best method for freshman is to redshirt them unless they are for sure the number 1 option at their position. That first year boost is by far the biggest.
If you dont mind save scumming, make a save during the week of national signing day. The largest attribute bump a player gets is the offseason bump, and that happens the week after national signing day. Choose 2 or 3 players you want to have a good overall jump, advance to the next week, and view the training results. If you like their progression keep it. If you dont, reload your save and repeat
Man I've been all about motivator and getting my players extra XP for the off season and eventually master motivator level 3 but man I guess all matters is praying to RNJesus. Thanks for the info.
They might need more playing time to progress. also Try changing the player Postion at the end of the year that might be part of it too. Like Cordale Russell True Position might be TE at 6'4 Physical. Kam Mikell cant really catch might be a better CB or SS
I appreciate gow you put this video together breaking it down and explaining it. 👍.. really helps. Could you do a video explaining how to increase playing style im stuck witha F grade and i dont know what to do different.
I had 84 RG that was a senior that i moved to LT because i only had 2 at that spot, he was 3rd on the depth chart and i wanted some younger guys with more potential to play. Dude jumped to a 91 overall immediately and average like 10 pancakes per game.
It would be easier to follow these videos if you made a table that shows where these players started and where they ended. Then show the table at the end. Very easy to make in excel or google sheets.
I’d like to see a video where you re roll progression week a few times. I had a strong safety’s Strength go from a 78 to an 83. But I re simulated and my center shot all the up to a 91 as a true sophomore. I kept that one but now that safety didn’t get his strength bump. I have a feeling this next offseason. He might get it.
Is it just me or do physical skills(speed, strength, agility, etc) DO NOT increase at all? Having a freshman offensive or defensive lineman not get stronger or skill positions not get faster by their junior or senior year doesn't make any sense to me.
Stop it u kno it it’s not just him. Several players physical ratings do not change. I’ve done at least 5 different dynasties & physical traits rarely improve
The CPU A.I still does the same dumb stuff on recruiting. In my offline dynasty UGA signed four 4 star QB’s in the same class. Even though they already had 4 QB’s
Total RNG. Incredibly disappointing. I’ve run a test dynasty resimming training several times and results were almost completely random. Elites actually progressed less than impacts. Add to this you can’t even see how much progression occurred without taking notes yourself…smh…Dynasty is a joke. This renders gems useless, and it renders the motivator tree useless. This game is a MESS.
Accurate. I ran it 20 times and they were random each time. What is the point of drafting recruits that are five star gems in four-star gems and have the development traits we’re looking for if all season training results are spit out at random. A normal development trait three star can jump 16 points in off-season training and that same normal trait 3 star can jump two points in off-season training. The same year. Memory built into the game and that off-season training results are entirely random which means the development traits are just completely bullshit as well as the four and five star athletes. The only thing that really matters is what they start overall when they’re drafted and with that the game limits you from 60 to 80. I’ve never recruited anyone above 80 maybe I am alone here
I really only see player progression in season. I think maxxing out in season XP is more ideal considering the expensive off season traits in the coaching tree arent worth it.
I agree with you but I don’t agree with you. The same thing happened to me. A safety came into my school at a 79. 96 speed. Junior year he was an 84 overall. At the same time I had a safety with an 89 speed behind him and as a junior he was an 89. So, i changed the safety positions, why was that safety rated 96 as a corner! The only reason I found out was because another safety passed him on the depth chart. So, did you check to see his best position?
We need a video ASAP they didn’t include in the patch that your playbook now effects your player overall and badges. Now I’m searching for a playbook that best suits my best players
Don't look for a playbook that suits your players, look for players that suit your playbook, you may suck for the first couple years but will work out in the long run because you can play to your own style
I’ve noticed this when I change coaching play styles. All my tailbacks when from 80s to 60s when I changed from Air-Raid to Pro Style. I don’t touch it anymore lol
Need someone to explain please what the sliders do by increasing up or down. For example increasing fumbles down actually makes you fumble more instead of the opposite. So what does this mean for the rest of the sliders
Development trait dictates how much XP you get in season not how much they progress during the off-season
Then what would dictate how much xp you get in the off season ?
Also don't redshift seniors. I did that & dude graduated. Never got to see his 88 overall on the field
Good point. I just did this but will remove.
Redshirting a senior especially one that is one of your top rated at the position is hindering yourself, not to mention unrealistic…..
@@ljre232 he wasn't my top rated player lol I had two starting tackles better than him. Was hoping to play him at guard after the redshirt

Gotta check the caps on each player. Arguably more important than dev trait

I have elite 3 star QB i got with Miami. Hes an absoulte beast. Improviser with 96 speed.
Deep throat receivers only focus on speed until the speed capped 😊
Throat lol
Now, i have noticed a lot of non development after I move them positions. I thought it was just me.
