How to fix the Jaquar mixer fitting in your bathroom?
Step 1: Measure the distance from your bathroom wall and the mixer you want to fit. Measuring will ensure the bend pipe point in the wall will be in the middle of hot and cold inlet points.
Step 2: Ensure the alignment is horizontal and perfectly placed.
Step 3: Flush out all the water from wall openings for any debris or dirt in the pipeline.
Step 4: Thread the bathroom mixer fittings into the inlet points. Adding a wind Teflon tape will prevent any leakage. Thread flange on wall mixer legs and nipple.
Step 5: Place the 3 way mixer tap in front of the L leg and put a washbasin rubber washer in the nut cavity. Tighten the wall mixer onto the mixture leg. Check if you have the right vertical alignment, tighten the nut with a spanner.
Step 6: Adjust the length of the bend pipe by cutting, so the other end reaches the nipple on top.
Step 7: Check the hot and cold water flow and turn the handle toward the left for water flow through the spout. Pull the button to check water flow in the hand shower.
Remember to cover all products with a cloth or polythene bag to prevent any damage to the product finish before you start using it.
