The 10$ Leica (More or Less)

Heyyy people, today we're talking about my latest photography purchase, the Lumix Fs3 that I got at Cash Converters for 14 euros. It has some pros and some cons obviously, let me know in the comments what do you think of them :)

I like carrying an inexpensive compact camera in my pocket, mainly to practise my composition, but I’m sometimes amazed by a few of the images it produces. And, for very little money, it’s great fun. Like you, I like ccd sensors too.

Some of the most satisfying shots I've got were from the older cameras, like the GF1 for example.

For sure mate, they limit you and oblige you to get good results on your own, without relying on technical qualities 👌

On a side note, this kind of makes me want to try out the Lumix XS1. There’s one being sold here for about the same price as this one.

@@JonathanPace I just found some old Canon Powershots (A495 and A580) in my storage. The A580 has an optical viewfinder! I might start using it as my digital "film" camera.

Ccd basically grabs the entire image sensor at once, it’s either on or off. CMOS exposes pixels incrementally.

May I recommend a good sturdy ziplock bag. Not dust proof. Pocket lint was a problem for me. I was able to clean the lint from the lenses and the sensor, but it was something I don't wish to repeat.

Tbh I don’t remember cause I gave away this camera after some months of use, I think I used it in auto most of the times anyway✌️

This is not Kodak sensor. You must be thinking about Leica M8 with a 10.5MP Kodak sensor.

Don't put it in your pocket! I got dust on my sensor, which I removed and it was hard to do. The collapsing zoom sucks dust into the camera. Keep it clean!!!
