Bro, I am far from the world of dance and came across this video by accident, but I still have a couple of thoughts about this battle. In my opinion you lost not because you dance worse than your opponent or something like that. The only difference between you, which decided the outcome of the battle, was experience. Your opponent feels great in battle. He knows what he can do, knows what the public likes from it, knows how to present it correctly. In my opinion, no matter how complex a dance is in its execution, it will always lose to a dance that clearly knows its goal. I looked through your channel and see that you are passionate about dancing, continue, try, experiment. Defeats, victories, falls, ups - these are all nothing more than just experience, and whoever has more of it ups higher. I'm sure you will succeed👍 P.s. I am sorry for my English

I think u won Hec, not just bc I’m ur subscriber but objectively I feel like u did more big moves and riskier stuff plus u were more fun to watch than the opponent, not that he didn’t do well. Your execution was legit though. I think if you study someone like Rubix and his ability to control the space and tell a story, you would be a good battle dancer.
Partypat/Sadboy was also my first battle almost 20yrs ago. Take the experience. Your first battle was literally a straight up boss fight. He gaps you in experience. Had you battled someone of a similar skill level, with this round? You would’ve won hands down.
Sadboy's overall demeanor was more confident and charismatic. Hec had better dance moves technically... but pleasing a crowd is all about establishing a mutual vibe. Maybe Sadboy had personal friends there or something? Home-team advantage. lol

From the outside eye looking in, most of us are looking at variety of skill and execution and you for sure did better. I had a few people look at your video as a blind test and they were shocked when I told them the other dude won 😂. But if you want to give him the win that’s cool. You are a cool guy so I won’t convince you otherwise. I personally feel like the audience may have known him longer and sometimes that will feed into the judges being a bit bias. It happens all the time in competitions that are not regulated by a governing body. But great work.

I have managed rap artists before as well and whenever we went to a rap battle in someone else’s hometown they tend to not be that friendly to outsiders.
