  • I used a thread with purple gradation to embroider the flowers using the bullion stitch. Although the bullion stitch takes some time, it can still take about 2 hours to complete this hoop. As shown in the picture, I embroidered it on two fabrics with the same DMC color. As highlighted in the video, it's important to execute the Bullion Stitch while shaping your hands well. I plan to share a separate video on how to embroider the bullion stitch beautifully.

I created this embroidery design envisioning a bullion stitch with a beautiful purple gradation thread. Initially, I was hesitant about using gradation thread due to its color changes, causing the final product to deviate from my exact mental image.
Throughout my career as a designer, I've executed thousands of designs, always striving to bring my visions to life. However, this pursuit often led to considerable stress. Despite my deep passion for design, paradoxically, the stress was taking a toll on my enjoyment of the work.
Recently, I've been consciously working on cultivating a more relaxed mindset. When I feel overwhelmed or stifled, I practice calming breathing techniques to help guide my design decisions. As I've gradually embraced this change, I found myself contemplating the idea of incorporating gradation thread into my designs, such as in this bullion stitch.

When I draw patterns, I use a thin lightbox. This product is lightweight and easy to carry around. However,
the downside of this light box is that it's not easy to draw patterns on fabric with dark colours.

When embroidering this piece, I used 100% linen fabric. One piece is in natural colour, and the other one is in off white.
