I didn't watch practical magic until 2 maybe 3 years ago (somehow) but have always been a stevie nicks fan- had no idea her songs were in the movie until I watched it- they fit so well I was so excited when they started playing. have watched the movie probably 5x since and can't wait to next month
Practical Magic was a flop. Arguably too granola and not enough magic. People wanted something like Hocus Pocus meets Witches of Eastwick. The movie failed to make back its budget, but has since become a cult classic for those looking to watch movies about witches during the fall/Halloween.

definitely not enough magic- love hocus pocus and charmed but still love this movie too.
