I've come back to Islam after a while now. Bilal chin was a name I remember hearing but I didn't know him as a person. Mashallah my brother has amazing wisdom, this podcast as well as the one he did with Musa Adnan on re rooted had reintroduced some of the grassroot principles of our Deen. This podcast and the other one I had mentioned struck a chord with me on many things. I pray Allah give you both wisdom and intelligence and lead our community fervently...

And what i mean is islam is islam . Yes you can try and portray it in a different way to different people according to their understanding and emaan but its all still the same content. And if you are meaning to portray the deen through mediums of music and films and other impermissible ways just to reach out to other audiences then of course you cannot make what is haram halal for any reasons even if you say its for dawah purposes. Because then your actually changing the deen to suit the people. Its imperative to remember the way of the prophet saw and how he gave dawah and his companions Ra . And what he said about innovations in the religion that every innovation is a misguidance even if it is a good innovation. And Allah knows best and it is ultimately Allah that guides.

When you say creating content for them, what kind of content do you mean? And the content you said that is out there already is just for the 1% what kind of content are you talking about? UA-cam videos,islamic channels ect? And If you are aiming content at the other 99% then how should that differ. Rather than the actual content do you mean the way you portray the content.

@@Wisethinker527 I think they are talking about the basics of Islam in a way that can be consumed by people without technical knowledge and a critical mind set. Content that make non Muslims or non practising Muslims think more and eventually start taking Islam more seriously and enforcing it into their lives. Like there are content that explain hadiths and surras but someone's who doesn't read the quran will not look for that, if they see it they will ignore. So certain eye catching concepts (doesn't have to include anything haram) that encompass Islam in an easily digestable way(short videos, stories of the sahaba or the prophets that's not judging you and telling you, you are going to hell but shows you the life's of pious people in an entertaininable and halal form that makes you think about yours for example ) that anyone can understand and take meaning from.
Now this is just my short take, I haven't sat down and thought it through yet I might be wrong.
@@ipheclekennedy I guess spoken word and poetry without the music seems a good way, short videos could be good too without the music. The brother has a big platform of people following him, so May Allah aid him and bless him in calling to Islam in the right way and guide us all ameen
