Hi there, good explenation about cold calling. But I just wanna remaind the complexity abt "telemarketing" because there's 2 kind of telemarketing actually Cold calling and warm calling. cold calling telemarketing indeed call the cust. , they might be did a direct sales through phone, or they might be asking for meeting appointment so they(the cold caling telemarketing) can give a presentation and offer about one product/service face to face. But the other hands, there is warm calling telemarketing, their main rspnsiblty when calling the cust. is only explain abt the product/service, do the qualification(make sure the cust. Meet the comp. Qualification, and then setting for meeting appointment schedule between the cust & the sales staff/consulant to do a prospect, or giving the qualification data to the telesalea staff, so they can call the cust, and of courae will be easier to decide which product/service that will be suitable to be offer and make a sales.
