Such a beautiful conversation! I was at VousCon and I was blown away by the messages Dakota and Manu gave! The culture and leaders at Vous are amazing! So inspirational to see! Thank you guys for your yes! Love y'all!
Ahhh I love the mature me podcast!!! The joy of the Lord is your strength y'all whew come on! Lol. Been able to listen for the whole season. I'm maturing hallelujah and I love listening to the body of Christ and the different things each person brings. I don't think I've missed an episode. Pastor rich thank you for your steps of faith and courage to do all you are doing! Things you've said have really stuck with me. "God's not calling you to do hard things, he's calling you to do impossible things" "the quicker you heal from injury, the healthier you are" I've not finished with this episode yet. I love sister Manoushka. I got to hear her in person at Radiant conference in Texas... I didn't realize she went to Vous! Ah I hate to be this guy, well girl...but it's coming from love...I had to speak on the word crazy lol. It has two meanings. Mentally deranged or enthusiastic. We can be crazy for Christ, the second meaning. I think so many times we try to contain our love for the Lord. But it's not scriptural to do that. The lady with the alabaster jar certainly didn't when she poured out her oil at the feet of Jesus in front of the judgmental religious folk. David didn't when he danced his clothes off... He sees our heart. He loves when we are crazy about him and adore him because He's crazy about us. We can be crazy for Christ. Not mentally deranged, but enthusiastic. 🥰 God continue to bless you all! 🥹💕
“Anything big started small.” I felt like this phrase from Pastor Rich was really the theme of the podcast. I loved hearing Manou’s story and the conversations of the origin of things. From a skit to a move, from an internship to the first time being asked to host and then to preach. It got me thinking about my story and the way the Lord led me from one thing to another so seamlessly unplanned (to me) yet so purposeful (and planned by God). Love you guys!
It's obvious - or maybe I'm misreading - that Manu is passionate about pleasing God. She knows exactly what God wants. So does Dakota. Their eye contact and focus on each other while communicating shows their trust in each other and their comfort with one another. They are shining examples of what Jesus wanted in his Church.
Love the Podcast! I Have a comment, I Loved when you did the podcasts Live and we could've watched along. Also Tuesday's I would tune in while im at work! But love your stuff

Loved this convo! I grew up in the northeast going to Winterfest, Springfest-pivotal years in my youth. So cool to hear Manu reference it too!
