Fans have been complaining all season about the cheap shots and poor officiating, but nothing has changed. Caitlin has brought the WNBA out of the hole they have been stuck in for years, broke or set dozens of records, but she has been the object of constant abuse all year without any resolution to the problem. The WNBA had their chance, now I'm done with them...and many other fans will most likely follow suit. I hope all of the jealous harpies, and the WNBA itself, enjoy their return to mediocrity...and playing before the small crowds they were used to.

Check out the free throw discrepancy of last night's game....the Fever 7/9, and the Suns 22/23. Personal fouls called - the Fever 20, the Suns 11. CC for as much as she handles the ball, drives, shoots, passes - in 40 mins, the full game, her freethrows were 2 for 2. Can the WNBA and their refs explain it???? She played 76 out of a possible 80 minutes(40 minutes last night)in 2 games. Her running mate mitchell played 77 out of a possible 80 minutes(40minutes last night). She was16-38 from the field. Included in those 38 attempts she was 5-19(26%) from 3 point range in the 2 games(3-9 last night). When your 2 best scores are logging those kind of minutes, they're gonna get tired, that's what happened.
Bonner plowing into Clark during her 3 point shot, then Mabrey putting a forearm into Clark with no fouls is just crazy. Yeah, the last few plays were bad, Smith going -12 in 4 minutes is bad, Fever's depth in general is bad, yeah I get it. Fever were lucky enough to even be here. But holy shit, these refs need investigated. This is not how games should be officiated. Now add that the Suns over DOUBLED the amount of free throws that the Fever did, and the obvious is the obvious.

When games and series are decided by refs manipulating results and thugs intentionally injuring star players with no repercussions, it doesn’t make for a good product to watch. This is what you get when the league uses high school refs. This league has many issues, they hid well due to lack of attendance and coverage. Now that Clark has brought the people and media to their game, we are seeing how poorly this league is run. Clark should leave the league for over seas and make greater money and better players.
The bald headed ref seemed to be blind to the fouls that Connecticut was committing . It was 5 Suns and 3 refs playing against the Fever. Very few foul shots for the Fever but plenty for the Suns. Just a bullshit game to watch. There was no way the refs were going to let the Fever win that game. Here is an apparent rule that makes no sense at all: They call a foul on Mitchell and Coach Sides contests. So give me a good reason why a foul that Kelsey Mitchell clearly didn't commit then is reassigned to Lexie Hall. If Hall wasn't called for a foul to begin with, then why should she then get called for a foul during a contention that had nothing to do with her. WNBA is just a bullshit league that needs cleaning from head to toe.

Ok here is my view on this and I may be wrong or probably am so be patient with this view. #1 The refs in the WNBA are terrible. #2 You ever live in an area with ppl who are on welfare? CT had almost 9,000 fans in a packed house...about half of what The Fever usually draw when teams change venues to compensate for The Clark effect.. Seems like the other teams are getting ready for reduced crowds and smaller venues won't make that so obvious. The W will fade back into obscurity until The fever is back on the court next season. The nobodies who rode on her coattails will gained only notariety...NOT any positive recognition for their obvious lack of character which appears to be throughout the entire league.
I hope you could post about the WNBA playoff formats. It would be more competitive if they’re like 1st & 3rd Games on Top seeds court & 2nd Game on the lower seeds. These playoffs Games 1 & 2 were on the Top seeds court. It’s not how it’s done in NBA,MLB, & NHL. Fans of lower seeds deserve to watch & support their teams on their home court. This is the first time that long time bball fans have scrutinized this league and they/we are seeing issues that were probably never addressed because there was such little popular interest. What's going on now, can just as easily end. The entire league (players) needs to have it explained how the NBA got so popular and wealthy that they've been able to subsidize the W without breaking a sweat. Man, got to give so much props for a kid who's got so much pressure and weight on her shoulders and what she was still able to do with so much opposition (and being snubbed by the USBB) is remarkable. This is what you get when the league uses high school refs. This league has many issues, they hid well due to lack of attendance and coverage. Now that Clark has brought the people and media to their game, we are seeing how poorly this league is run. Clark should leave the league for over seas and make greater money and better players.

The bald headed ref seemed to be blind to the fouls that Connecticut was committing . It was 5 Suns and 3 refs playing against the Fever. Very few foul shots for the Fever but plenty for the Suns. Just a bullshit game to watch. There was no way the refs were going to let the Fever win that game. Here is an apparent rule that makes no sense at all: They call a foul on Mitchell and Coach Sides contests. So give me a good reason why a foul that Kelsey Mitchell clearly didn't commit then is reassigned to Lexie Hall. If Hall wasn't called for a foul to begin with, then why should she then get called for a foul during a contention that had nothing to do with her. WNBA is just a bullshit league that needs cleaning from head to toe.

Ok here is my view on this and I may be wrong or probably am so be patient with this view. #1 The refs in the WNBA are terrible. #2 You ever live in an area with ppl who are on welfare? The reason I ask is because sometimes I get that vibe from the WNBA. See with welfare why get a job, when you can stay home and not do crap and you're getting 500 less than if you went out and worked. Ok that's the WNBA they are being subsidized by the NBA. They got paid whether they sucked or not whether they worked hard and actually made games entertaining or not so why do it we still get paid. CT had almost 9,000 fans in a packed house...about half of what The Fever usually draw when teams change venues to compensate for The Clark effect.. Seems like the other teams are getting ready for reduced crowds and smaller venues won't make that so obvious. The W will fade back into obscurity until The fever is back on the court next season. The nobodies who rode on her coattails will gained only notariety...NOT any positive recognition for their obvious lack of character which appears to be throughout the entire league.

I hope you could post about the WNBA playoff formats. It would be more competitive if they’re like 1st & 3rd Games on Top seeds court & 2nd Game on the lower seeds. These playoffs Games 1 & 2 were on the Top seeds court. It’s not how it’s done in NBA,MLB, & NHL. Fans of lower seeds deserve to watch & support their teams on their home court. Take note- seeds 5-8 were all eliminated!

The officiating is absolutely horrible! To put it basically, the WNBA is a product and if my product is that horrible and inconsistent then I am either going to take the necessary steps to fix it or I am going to stop production on it all together. besides the work that she'l undoubtedly already plans on doing to strengthen herself up, The Fever need to get some enforcers to deal with the physicality of the opposition, and to help clean up the boards. The league really needs to put its foot down on the Draymond Green, Bill Laimbeer, Zaza-style dangerous stuff that's going on, plus step up the refereeing as well. This is the first time that long time bball fans have scrutinized this league and they/we are seeing issues that were probably never addressed because there was such little popular interest. What's going on now, can just as easily end. The entire league (players) needs to have it explained how the NBA got so popular and wealthy that they've been able to subsidize the W without breaking a sweat. Man, got to give so much props for a kid who's got so much pressure and weight on her shoulders and what she was still able to do with so much opposition (and being snubbed by the USBB) is remarkable. Nobody is guaranteed a long career, so hope everyone is enjoying this while it last (hopefully for a long time).
