I think if I was a Belgian dude chilling at a festival not knowing who Cave-In were, blown away after that beautiful Seafrost outro and they just moved straight into Moral Eclipse like that, I'd shit my pants.
One of the main reasons I adore this band. Atmospheric and beautiful or heavy and chaotic - they can easily drift between genres without it sounding corny or forced. Ridiculous.
I wish he did the vocals on Until Your Heart Stops. I'm more into his style of growls than higher pitched screams Stephen and Adam did on that record. I guess this is an unpopular opinion.
@@TonyRedgrave1501i 100% agree, i enjoy UYHS but wow, the sceams just aren’t that fun. I love Brodsky’s screams now, and his singing voice too, but yeah, weren’t great back then lollol.
Reminds me of how Bad Brains could go from Hardcore punk to chilled Rastafarian. Cave In are unique and can't be labelled....well maybe they sounded like Failure at one point. Ha.
Snare sound is incredible. The bass tone and lines are the perfect balance of filth and clarity. songriting, vocal, and guitar interplay is genius. NUMBER 1 UNDERRATED BAND OF ALL TIME, EASILY
Great performance guys.. i seen you guys at the middle east in Cambridge Massachusetts long ago when Jupiter first came out and it was great.. Jupiter is still my favorite album .. until your heart stops is also another great one ...
@@cactus-mcjacktus I actually saw them a few days before this at Reading festival. met them after the set and got my Jupiter record signed by the band...i believe the bassist died a few years ago...he was a beast!!!
Man, to have Until Your Heart Stops re-recorded with Caleb doing vocals would have been a thing of wonders. 😭. Rip Caleb.

r.i.p. Caleb.

The most dynamic & underrated band to ever exist? I’d say so.

Caleb's vocals are a weapon of mass destruction. Bone chilling! Awesome Video.
I miss the guy...

I love the juxtaposition of 'Sea Frost' against 'Moral Eclipse' XD
oh, old account. I can't believe I wrote "XD" in this. How embarrassing.
And now I'm back mourning Caleb's passing. What a bizarre and sad day.
God damn it I will forever miss that fucking voice.
Caleb is a bonafide badass. I bet he’s blowing out speakers in heaven
Rest in peace Caleb this amazing band is true legend
RIP Caleb Scofield.

Fuck man it still hurts knowing Caleb isn’t on this mortal plane anymore but his music still touches all of us. Shake my blood in your shadow

Brodsky looks so satisfied during Moral Eclipse. Caleb was so damn good.
Such an incredible band with so much diverse talent. Watching them coheadline with converge in 2003 and 04 was mindblowing. Rest in peace Caleb.

These guys could do anything.
There needs to be a bedroom pop jazz fusion project called Brodsky's Mustasche. It's a joke.
