I am kind of knew to all of the subgenre of rock and I would be very interested in reading why this album is considered as rock and what subgenre it belongs to, if someone is keen to explain it to me
It isn't rock but Raphael is a metal head and that must influence his writing because the music he makes seems to appeal to a lot of rock and metal fans. He's also collaborated with a few rock and metal bands in the past so he's somewhat known in the community

The metal influence is really evident throughout From Above around the 13:00 mark especially all the way to the end of that song
