@@bigsnacks913 brand new from the strandberg website. (A black prog 7. Would've loved the natty but out of stock) The ones you have look like their passive pickups vs. the fishman fluence modern pickups
@@elliott614 Yup the 6's come with Suhr passives and the 7/8's with the Fluences, I'm assuming because Suhr most likely does not make extended range versions of their pickups. Either way can't go wrong really, I love the Fluences in my Prog 7 and my friend's 6 has the Suhrs which are maybe my favorite passive pickup I've ever played. Also I think I'm reading your comment right and if so that is not me in the video :)
amazing playing! subscribed! im about to buy exactly one of those 2 guitars in those same finishes and string configuration so exactly like the ones you have, which one do you like best and what can you tell about them? i played 7 string long time ago, but im not used to it, but i do believe the extra range is better for composition and sound wise i do prefer the fishmans, i also believe the 7 string looks better. on the other hand the 6 string will be easier to play and adapt to the strandberg world. thank you!!
You're a master guitar player, sir. All those guitars sound wonderful but the Fishman pickups are killer.
Wait the prog 7 comes with active humbuckers. Interesting. Are the ones shown an upgrade?? I just ordered one
@@elliott614 They normally come stock with those Fluences, I've never heard of a different option for the Prog 7/8. Did you buy one used?

The natty one you play looks right. Just the black one, the pickups look different
But it's a 6-string. Idk how the pickups differ between the models

Hey bud. I have to ask, since i'm torn between prog 6 and 7... which do you like better? Or I guess what i'm really asking is, Suhr vs Fishman?
Sounds good! What kinda sweeps are those around the 2 minute mark?
Its from a 80,s song called Black Cat by Cacophony with Marty Friedman and jason Becker
GOD! 'O'
Do you put some chorus on the clean tone or just reverb, delay and comp?
damn it's the guy from King gizzard
DrProctorDoesCoke But is it Stu or Ambrose??
