Tom Oemcke I'm 12 and I have tried to save many animals. I have saved a few chipmunks from my cat. One of them I thought was dying so I tried to help it but it was in shock and when he was fine he bit me and ran.....others just died and never had a chance. My profile pic is a mouse my cat brought in through the dog door. I try to help animals as much as I can I would even try to help snakes.

I drove past a turtle on the road once. I went back to help it and by the time I got there, someone had hit it. It was bleeding out but still alive--- I managed to scoop it up in a box and get it to a vet, but all they could do for it was put it to sleep.
