It was just supposed to be a normal day. We picked up orders at our doctor's office for a small battery of tests, in advance of the beginning of Priscilla's next cycle, and our next round of infertility treatment. Just a series of blood tests and an ultrasound-pretty standard stuff for us. But then we unexpectedly received the results of Pri's blood work ahead of schedule. And then we were advised to sit down with our doctor for an unscheduled, impromptu consultation. In his office, he delivered shocking news, that we still haven't completely wrapped our heads around.
