I’ve got a 2018 alumacraft 205 competitor and I have both switches on open, and my live wells both front and back are not draining? Am I doing something wrong here?!?! This is driving me bonkers literally......
It’s a manual switch that moves a stiff cable like the live well systems or a throttle control. If it fails, it is replaceable. Also, if the switch fails as long as you can move the cable, the plug can be engaged and disengaged by hand. I do not prefer a remote drain plug over the standard drain plug. My issues are trash preventing a positive seal, it allows less volume of flow, and is not robust enough. I always keep a plug inside my boat in case I lose the plug I can install one from the inside. I actually try to install from the inside anyway whenever possible.
Great; why isn't this made for the standard 3 screw 1/2 inch plug round plug ???
