Our cherry trees yielded plenty this year, so it is time for a delicious cherry cake. The cats are enjoying the warm summer days and we finally have a new bed in our bedroom.
The trunk at the foot of your bed, and your painted chest, are both so beautiful! I was hoping to see a picture of the finished cake :) Your little farm is beautiful. I also have a "test" willow fence. We planted about 20 swamp willow trees on our property about 7 years ago, and they are tall now. I trim them for making this willow fence. We are so very wet and warm here, if I stick a long willow twig in the ground, it will grow into a tree. Enjoyed your video!
The cake was for guests, so I couldn't bring myself to cut it for the video :) Next time, I try to do that! Willows are such beautiful trees. I made another test fence in February and the sticks indeed grew roots. Now, I let the vertical sticks dry out in spring first and then use them as fence poles. So far it works :D Thank you for watching
