What Conor said about being the most active champion in the UFC is valid. He is currently holding the status of the "Featherweight champion". IKR, even an average fighter could land a straight punch in the 3 hours it takes Eddie to draw his arm back then unload it.
In that montage they made of him clipping up RDA after the initial hit that is 3 shots he landed on a basically standing KOed RDA, out about 12 thrown.

I know that people really hate McGregor, but people need to get real. Alvarez's only shot here is to take things to the ground. People act like McGregor is some bum with zero power / accuracy at all lol, if Alvarez throws shots like that he's going to be eating mashed potatoes and pudding for the next few months
Conor is far from a bum but also far from the amazing fighter his fans will try to convince you he is, Other than the 13 second win its been over 2 years and 5 fights since his last 1st round KO, In fact they both have 1 first round Ko in there last 5 fights, however Eddies was in his last fight for the title so his confidence should be high. Conor is coming of the back of two very very difficult fights and this is a quick turn around again for him which you have to respect but to suggest that Eddie is not on Conor's level is simply ridiculous, if you base it on statistics and form coming in to the fight for both fighters this should be a very competitive fight, while it lasts...!
Jordan Griffin they are both great fighters, but lets be honest neither are on that level of prime GSP - Silva - Jones etc ... and also Eddie won the championship by Knockout so that surely makes his striking 'championship level' by fact? If anyones mindset should be off rite now i would say its Conor he has gone from a wrecking ball to struggling slightly, it has got to be in his mind that he needs to start making people say ' wow ' again. Along as the fight is good I'm not fussed who wins to be honest, but If Eddie goes through Conor like he has too other opponents people cannot be genuinely surprised?!

Nate showed us Conor is very very hittable so If Eddie tagged him it would not be a shock, maybe it would a few fights ago but it shouldn't be now. I think also he needs to defend his belt to be considered a history setting two weight world champion just turning up holding it hostage while fighting and lets not forget losing in different weight classes without defending the title he has, takes a certain amount of the shine away.
