The BBC never get their facts correct lol Holiday was Madonna's 3rd UK Single release, after Everybody in December 1982, and Lucky Star in late '83 (with the sunglasses sleeve). Holiday came out early in 1984 along with the very late release of the self-titled debut LP closely followed by a repackaged Lucky Star single (with the Crucifix earring sleeve).
This was broadcast on BBC 2 in the UK a few months ago. They also showed Desperately seeking...and In bed with... As a night of programming to celebrate Madonna. They were having a season celebrating musical icons for a few weeks on a Saturday night.
@@p.m.6064 also Like Virgin, Frozen, Don’t Tell Me, and Power of Goodbye.. IDKW this uploader filled this video with so many lip synced performances? 🤷🏼♂️ BUT at least he didn’t label the video with “Live” in it lol Best lip synced performance by M’ would have to be VOGUE 💫💫
@@JUSAGUYNKY This programme was broadcast in the UK, so they chose the song content. It was a part of Madonna night, shown along with the movies Desperately...and In bed with... To be fare they didn't have much choice but to include a lot of lip synched performances as the content had to be all the times she performed on the BBC and the majority of that was on TOTPs.
