Lol, onfire acting like the LSPD isn't dropping like flies from corruption investigations, rights violations, and gross incompetence for the simplest policing tasks and concepts. Who else was nino supposed to pick that wasn't already corrupted by the current PD culture. He's literally been looking and interviewing for weeks now. If there was someone else, he would have found them by now. Shouldn't be that hard to find a decent cop with a good head on their shoulders, but it is.
If she doesn't want to take orders from Daisy, then stay up north and stay out of the city.
The likelyhood that anyone in BCSO is going to be majorly effected by this new CoP is pretty low tbh.

I honestly feel it’s two different things cause Kalcyon(Onfire) cares more about the rp than actual serious department stuff so the whole Max thing was Chaotic Rp to have fun with, but this is different as Kits streamer who worked closely with Nino get her which directly gets her other character the CoP feels more like Meta gaming Rp than Chaotic Rp which is less fun Rp

Kalcyon is making a lot of sense BUT i think OOC hire in this case (where there was actually 0 good candidates) can be a good thing if it facilitates better cop RP. Still if you doing OOC hire dont make it semi-ooc(trying to RP it out without it making sense in RP), like Kit/Nino did, just have an admin or an owner get a person who they think will better the RP on the server. And make sure everyone knows the reasoning so they can RP around it ( 6:52 this is exactly how it would go and its weird).

And if you’re going to pick some rando cop RP wise like Daisy, then at that point you might as well interview lower ranking cops like Onfire or Opal, or cops who just really give a shit and are generally well respected like Maxwell or Jimbo. I mean, it's in character a little bit weird if you're not in the know that Nino is interviewing candidates a lot and trying to go hard on getting everything done to a certain standard.
He's listening and watching to how police all do their jobs and what they think about one another and making decisions like that. The PD clearly has a communications issue at whole, so they're just having a very average time right now in general.
Kalcyon is 100% true but i think nobody wants to make this something big OOC and choose to keep it IC because it could led to something good as inpeachment and/or on overreaching powers from the mayor or smthng else. Even tho a lot of streamers find this weird af and just DasMehdi, his chat, some CGs fans and a lot of PD haters find it just.

She does have a point about Rose Rhodes 3.0 though. Rose Rhodes and Kit Archer were basically the same characters and weren't good as cop characters, so good chance that's all she can do rp wise.

I think these streamers with cop mains need to start doing the daily segments where they watch lore/meta clips like most of the other streamers, because it's kind of brain dead to make a hot take about a situation when you have done absolutely ZERO amount of independent investigating. Like normally I like Onfire, but that was such an L take. It genuinely pains me after watching the shit Nino, Angel, DOJ, the Marshals and the rest of the State Department has gone through in the past week; literal hours of viewable content showing what exactly has been done to improve the city with a long list of things yet to come. Yet half the PD are so short-sighted and incompetent that Nino needed to outsource to ex-cops from 3.0 and the skeleton crew. It's mindboggling
I like Medhi so I’m going to trust the process, but appointing someone who’s been MIA for majority of 4.0 and someone most of LSPD probably don’t even know who they are as CoP seems like a poor choice. Just hoping she’s just a interim CoP for like a month while he gets PD and the city back to a good state then he appoints someone more deserving.
