' Tanghulu the apple slices and I picture it to be even better. (Tanghulu is basically dipping the chosen food item which the food item needs to be dry or partly dry for the sugar to stick, into melted sugar that's in its crackling stage before instantly dipping the sugar-covered food item into a bath of ice water with ice within to seal in the full crunch as it cools the sugar down)
Tanghulu Grapes work ever so well, both give a good crunch and go well together. But... I will recommend that everyone allow their creativity to run wild to create new types of candy, dishes and many other consumable foods.
Oh, here's an idea. first Freeze dry a Ferrore Rocher, then encase it in a mellow vanilla ganache with a few hazelnut pieces within. Freeze the whole sphere before Tanghuluing it three times and then freeze-drying it again.
