I don't believe you can undertake such a large renovation without breaking things, especially of such age. Don't be so hard on yourself, you're doing a brilliant job.
@@AmyLouiseDens while it may not be a disaster to you, it is to him! He even said it's not as big a deal as what's going on in the world, but to him, it means a lot and when something like that happens it is a disaster. Your angest is understandable, however, the medallion is eminently restorable. You don't need to replace it. Instead, it can be pieced together by a reputable restorer. That's the strategy used to restore elaborate 19th century plaster ceilings at Windsor Castle that collapsed in a fire. The pieces were cleaned, reassembled, with missing bits recreated and then reattached to the ceilings. Like you say, restore rather than replace.
If you have a chance, watch the special on restoring Windsor Castle, it's inspirational for any restorer. Finally, make sure to check the medallion for multiple layers of paint. Best to remove them to reveal the crispness of the original design, which often is obscured by paint.
This is exactly what I was thinking. Get it fixed! And yes. I am glad your dad is ok! The downs make us appreciate the ups more. You got this Caleb! ❤️
That medallion falling, while tragic, is not as big a deal as you may think. My uncle owned a brownstone in Boston and broke his medallion in a million pieces. It took a long time, but he put it back together. You can make molds for the parts that are missing, from the parts that are left. The make kits for just that situation. Now you will be a master of plaster casting as well. 😁
As person living in Poland I had to say I'm so grateful for this channel. It's so good to have this few moments with you guys and just to relax. In this part of the world there is huge tension but we believe everything gonna be alright. SLAVA UKRAINI.
Kamila, be sure to take care of yourself too. Being so close to the current madness, don't let it overpower your emotions. Remember you have friends on this side of the ocean.
Another Polish watching it..after the long day at work and then helping ukrainian family who is staying at my friends' apartment to collect needed fernitures
I am a Ukrainian who was watching your channel for a while before full scale war started. Thank you so much for all the kind words and for amazing work that you do. Bringing historic buildings to life is the opposite of what is going on in my country. Your videos give me hope that with enough dedication many things can be repaired.
Kim is a Superwoman! I love how she just stepped up when you were overwhelmed and got stuck right in…You two are so lucky to have each other when the going gets tough. That’s teamwork and you can never underestimate the value of that kind of love and support. You can power through this. Sending you strength and positivity from Scotland 🏴
Well, this is unfortunate, but you've learned a valuable lesson. OSHA is criticized by trades people, but it's important to remember that safety codes are written in blood. You're very lucky that the medallion is the only loss in this situation. Your father could have been seriously injured. I hope you clearly mark and temporarily board up holes in the floor in the future, and take care of the other hazards in your house. None of this is worth you, Kim, or your dad's lives/health.
Yes, Kim is ALWAYS the MVP. She may not be out in front doing the showy work or having the know-how to do the heavier work or plan the restoration work, but she’s the support crew (along with John). And without the support, nothing can work or stand alone. 💕 So sorry for your setbacks. And sorry for John, too. I can only imagine how he felt. He’s so invested in this with you and has contributed so much. He must have been devastated for himself, for the house, and for you. In the end, thank God nobody was hurt. That’s the important thing. And the medallion can be fixed or replaced. People and the living contributions they’ve made and continue to make cannot. I know that you’re beginning to feel that now. 💕
One advantage with the medallion being "removed," is now it will be easier to see what the original finish was, especially if it was polychrome with metallic accents. Once repaired, you can duplicate the original finish before replacing it on the ceiling. A setback, yes, but use it to your advantage. You know it will be great in the end. The powder room looks wonderful, so true to the period and the spirit of the house. Great job!
I relate to being overwhelmed, but don’t forget that your dad could have been dangerously hurt. Medallions are never more important than family. Deep breath, and soldier on! You are doing an amazing job on the house, but the real lesson of this episode is safety first. Don’t ever take chances or let your girlfriend fall off the roof because of your stress….
You're lucky it wasn't worse, but it is crazy to leave an uncovered hole like that, if you moved the trash can, then right away cover the hole with plywood. You were so safe with harnesses when you were working on the windows, keep that mind frame at all times to limit even a possible major injury.
My family arrived to Germany (where I live) yesterday from Kyjiv. I‘m so happy to have them safe. They’re really traumatized and I hope they can find some peace here. It‘s heartbreaking, they had to leave husbands and boyfriends back home, as they’re not allowed to leave the country. It’s all really hard. Still - so glad they fled and are now safe with us.
My motto recently as I’ve gotten a bit more clumsy has been: “Darn, I didn’t mean to break that! But damn, I broke it well!” This makes me crack a forced smile as I’m still pissed about the current disaster. You’re going to laugh when sharing these stories in a few years. You are doing an excellent job. Thank you for freely sharing your weekly adventures of saving this old gal of a house. I admire your drive, determination, and imagination.
My parents had a similar issue with their home a few years back with their gutters. Try upsizing your gutters, if you have 6” then go with 8”. The size difference isn’t super noticeable from the ground but it will give you a lot more volume and allow your gutters to flow better.
Take the time you need to grieve the medallion, your feelings at losing it (even temporarily) are valid! Just make sure you don't get stuck there. On that note, it sounds like you're recovering well, and I'm glad everyone is safe and healthy. Many kudos to Kim for keeping it all going too! You're all doing some great work.
The stencil work in the bathroom looks beautiful as well as the transom windows! Glad your Dad is ok that could have been a really bad fall for him! 🌻🇺🇦
Try not to be so hard on yourself, things happen. Take as lessons learn and go forward. Your doing a great job. I love that your fixing this old girl up. You use great care and love to fix her.
My dude, I totally understand the disappointment. I have a 18th century Louis XV French walnut bed that I bought as my first antique when I was 18 yo and got my first full-time job back in 1986. I still have it but when I last moved 10 years ago, one of the side-rails with metal clips slid down the front of the bed and made a HUGE 20 inch gash right down the front. SO basically a 200 year old bed ruined in 1.5 seconds due to my own negligence. Shit happens and I totally get it. This, unfortunately, is going to be one in MANY things that will go wrong with the house and get broken, go missing, etc. Prepare yourself now.
I cried while he was explaining the situation. 😫😅✌🏼 Its like a baby for him, I can feel it, but there is time for repairing, time to built and time to let go and start over again. We have to wish him just the best! 😘♥️ I am enjoying his work, it’s an art!
The care and love you feel for your house is so inspiring. You are truly a special person. I also think Kim is truly amazing, getting to the roof immediately and clearing out the gutters. What s special team you are! Keep the pieces of your medallion after it is recast and put them in a special piece in the house. They will always be there where they belong. Thank you for a special program this week. You have touched all your viewers in a special way.
Your problem-solving and resolve, after all of these setbacks, will result in a beautiful home! It’s discouraging but the end result will be marvelous!!! Bravo Kim!!! You two make a good team!!!!
This could very well be a blessing in disguise - this happening made you aware of an unsafe situation in the house that now SAVED you from some really terrible thing happening in the future. A child (or a dog) could have fallen all the way through. Think about that. Now you'll never leave a hole open again. Also... FIX THE ORIGINAL! It'll be great content for your youtube channel! It's plaster. It can be glued, if properly prepared. The cracks can be filled. Mount the whole thing on a stable backing and use that backing to secure it to the ceiling. Sure it'll be repaired, but it will be the original - and it becomes part of the story of the house. Gather all the pieces, put it aside for now, learn from this, and then have FUN putting it back together.
Also, wouldn't they have to strip and re-assemble the medallion to create a proper casting, anyway? Well, hell, that's the hard part right there! Think of the backing piece as doing the work of holding the medallion together - then it's just filling the missing bits, which you can sculpt, or make molds of existing parts to create missing pieces. Easy-peasy with your attention to detail.
After all your personal setbacks and potential disasters, your stood back, took a broader view, and expressed humility. Most of us are not that gracious. Into each life some rain must fall. But nobody said anything about torrents.
Caleb, so sorry that you’ve had a difficult and stressful week. As many have already said, it can be fixed, you will keep moving forward. But more importantly, you must take care of yourself. It’s very obvious that you have working very hard for quite a while. Please, don’t let stress take a hold.
So sorry to hear of the setbacks but so glad your father is ok. I’m sure he feels bad too. Did the new window and trim get damaged from the water? I have gutter guards on my guttering but they still get clogged from leaf stems. Hang in there you two. You’ve got a lot of people rooting for ya.
I have always added gutter guards as soon as I move into an old property. It’s incredible how gutters can fill and block quickly. The old house I’ve been in a year had gutters that were completely full of weeds, dirt, growing plants. Thankfully no damage which was remarkable given the first time it rained after I moved in the water overflowed on all sides !
I'm so glad you're all ok. I can relate to the feeling of "my stupid mistake caused this disaster." And you all work so hard! A good rule of thumb is to arrange things not for your best capabilities but for "what's the worst (reasonable) thing that could happen if I left things like this?" If anything depends on remembering to do/ not to do something, try REALLY hard to rearrange things so that distractions, accidental tripping, etc. can't cause major injury or destruction.
The stained glass mini windows for the powder room look fantastic. The new wood for the exterior of your house is nice. The stencil looks really great in the powder room and doesn't need to be perfect. The Halls & Brown machine you now have is wonderful. I'm sorry about the medallion for the dining room. You will be able to recreate the medallion and it will look nice...no one except you will know the difference. I know that is no consolation so hang in there and breath please.
Regarding the roof, this is more good news! Even if you had no gutters at all your house is supposed to be sealed to the weather. This gives you the opportunity to fix the wall issue that's been there since the day the place was built. The gutter is secondary to that, because there will always be things that clog gutters but there should never be a situation where water comes into the building, of course. Sounds like you need to seal along the top (and sides) of the casing on the outside of the window and then install some type of drip edge. (take a picture from the roof looking down on it and you'll probably see the gap between the casing and the brick). I don't think it's the tuck-pointing at all right now, since, wasn't that repaired? But, yes, the water-removal there need a robust solution moving forward. When in doubt, over-engineer it!
This week will be better. The stencil looks wonderful and you ARE making so much progress. I think the events in the Ukraine make any damage seem worse . We had our old rotting deck demolished yesterday and watching made me emotional for the unnecessary destruction taking place over there. It affects us more than we know and comes out when we least expect. Your medallion, for example. The reality of something beautiful broken. It will be restored and every time you look at it think of the grace of restoration. Thank you for caring so much. And praying you and Kim have a productive week, month, year, decade! 🥰
Im so glad John is ok. Talking about a trail by fire….wow! I just wanted to let you know that these are minor set backs and I have no doubt that you will continue to do great things with your wonderful house. Your passion really comes through and I felt your sadness. I love the stencil work in the bath! It is looking so good! Have a great week and keep up the good work!
Even if you find out you can’t restore the original medallion, you are so creative & artistic that I know you can find a way to repurpose it & work it back into the dining room. You could even frame it in a nice display/shadow box or something and hang it on the wall for it to “hear” 120 more years of stories around the dining room table! You got this! 👍😎
Glad your dad is okay, I'm sure he felt just terrible. Restoration work can be a real emotional rollercoaster, and you shouldn't feel bad about feeling bad. I'll parrot a few people here. Kim is a real rockstar. Don't let a bad week get you down, we're all routing for you and this beautiful house, especially those of us in the STL area who want to see the history preserved.
I watch Caleb's work on this restoration with great interest, then read through the comments and am always impressed at the knowledge of my fellow viewers, and their enthusiasm in passing on helpful information. Caleb and Kim provide an oasis of peace now when news from Ukraine is so troubling. I was touched by Caleb's opening remarks on this.
Once your beautiful home gets it’s facade done it will be drawing so much interest due to its beauty! I am in love with your “wallpaper” stencil! Please know that most viewers appreciate the time and finesse required to restore an historic home
I’m truly sorry for all that happened to you and Kim and your beautiful home but if it wasn’t for you remember she could have been falling down. You are saving her for future generations to appreciate. It’s a wonderful work of love that you do. I only wish I would have been able to do this. You are truly blessed💕P. S. I wonder if you know a wonderful lady that’s has a channel her show is Blessed Beyond Measure , and she had lost her home a few months ago from a tornado . Things had gotten better and this week she lost her son. When you pray this week please add her and her family to your prayers.I love and appreciate you guys. God Bless
I'm so sorry this happened. I'm glad your dad is okay after the fall. Kim is a champ. Love the stencil pattern and want to replicate it in one of my projects. You are doing a wonderful rehab/restore on your house. Keep on keeping on in spite of challenges and disappointments. Your love and passion for your home will get you through.
Kaleb- look at it this way- yes the medallion won`t be the original, but neither is any of the wood you`re using on the front of the house on the dormers and trim. As long as they are copied from the original, that`s the best you can do. And you`re doing a great job BTW! I just hope your dad is OK and isn`t beating himself up over it.
Please don't take this as an attack. When you are working by yourself, your safety is your choice. When you are responsible for others, this being your project, might need to stop for a bit and remove the source of danger.
The gutter situation is a blessing in disguise. Better to see where a water problem is now before the room is completely finished. Since all the water runs to one point, you may want to consider adding another downspout in another area to relieve the pressure and volume of water coming off the roof.
Have heart. I understand your pain and grief, bad things happen. But all of us watching have great faith that in the end its going to be fantastic. You're a great and caring team. You have eachother. That will carry you through. Hang in there. Its gonna be ok.
Kudos to you and Kim! You sound willing to get back on the horse. Counting your blessings and getting back to it. Life is full of struggle and the struggle tests us and tries us but we are better for having been through it. Trust the Lord and keep going 💪🏻
Sorry to see this preview image, but like the old saying goes, you can't bake a cake without breaking a few eggs in the process. I know it's a hassle and creates a delay, not to mention diverts money from your other projects, but at least you'll have the benefit of stronger modern materials to use in recreating it. I know it's still going to end up fantastic!
Y'all are both champions! I know these mistakes and little disasters are very disappointing but y'all will be ok because of your dedication. Every single renovation/restoration channel I watch has had these setbacks...some are devastating. You can definitely make all this right!
Your tenaciousness and commitment to your home is so admirable. I'm sorry you had such a tough week and I hope you will forgive yourself for the accidental damage to your beautiful home. Be well.
We are all going trough difficult times. Your channel creates always good vibes and positive energy. Building not destroying things. That’s the best thing you can do at the moment. 🕊 For all of us. Thank you 🙏
Bad week, think of all the good weeks you have had, all the challenges you have met and conquered. I think you are an amazing man and you and Kim are such a wonderful team. Onward and upward….
Kaleb, if I ever meet your grandfather, I'm going to hug him for traveling all the way to St. Joseph to get the Hall & Brown No. 60, with the complete plate on it. And it's still usable! As for the medallion, if you hadn't shed tears you wouldn't be the guy who was strong enough to take on the restoration. That's HEART. This will work itself out, one way or another. Glad Kim was there to piece it back together at that moment. She is a PEACH. (But we always knew that.) And just remember that no one during those 140 years has taken on the exact restoration, after all those decades, YOU guys have. CHEERING YOU ON!!!!
Stuff happens....you will overcome! I'm so glad you're doing a restoration, not a renovation. It just upsets me, no end, to see all the beautiful walls, and woodwork, painted white. You're correct about a modern interior in a Victorian shell. You will laugh someday. I totally understand your hurt. Love to both of you...especially MVP Kim!!! ❤❤❤👍👍👍😊😊 🇺🇦🌻💙💛
I am so thankful first and foremost your father is not hurt & it didn't break into a million little pieces. You will make that look like new and unless they see this story they will never know. 💖
Everything is coming along great! As for the medallion- it will be ok. Hugs. The house won’t hold any grudges and will love you for what you are helping to bring back, original or not. It will be ok. And the water leak- call it a blessing in disguise. Now you can figure out an issue that plagued the house. I know you will and everything will work out.
This is a great item for Kintsugi. Get the help of a plaster expert and fix the medallion with as many original pieces as possible and line the cracks with gold paint. In that way it is original, it still presides over the dinners and stories like it always has, but adds to your part of this story. Also, don't be so hard on yourself you are doing amazing things with this house. Keep going!
Oh, Kaleb, I'm so sorry. I was concerned yesterday when there was no video and wondered what had happened. I'm glad your Dad is okay, it could have been so much worse! The medalion can be restored as others have said and once the colors are on it, no one will ever know. And I sure sympathize with the water damage, been fighting that forever. Whoever thought flat-roofed buildings were a good idea in the Midwest? I hope Kim gave you a bunch of hugs too. I'm in awe of both of you and you dedication. You got this!
So Sorry for your rubbish week 😥 Glad your Dad was not hurt 🤗 Kim is Diamond bless her 🤗 could feel your pain 😥 New week start over love to you all take time out we can wait 🤗 Love Sue ❤❤❤🇬🇧❤❤❤
The Butler's Pantry/Powder Room windows look fantastic now, as does the stenciled paintwork. Dude - the 'medallion' is damaged, but it is quite saveable. Clean it up, removing all the old paint (which will be much easier to do now at least at ground level!), use silicon molds and plaster to recast the missing sections, and there you go. It's not a steep learning curve. Yes - it's another week or two's work, but in the great scheme of things… The most important thing is that your dad is OK and survived another day. And never - ever - leave holes in the floor.
I love the pattern in the bathroom! You are doing a fantastic job. You both are putting so much love into every inch of this house and it’s definitely paying off. Also, I love the compassion you both have for other people. Struggling people are everyone’s problem, in the end for this world to succeed we need to support each other when we can❤️
The joys of bringing back an old house, and yes one day you’ll be able to look back and laugh at all the bad/hard weeks. Keep your chins up and keep plugging away.
First of all I appreciate your passion and dedication to restoring your beautiful home. I understand first hand the disappointments that can come from no where. You are absolutely right. You will look back and laugh. Caleb you will put her back in order and she will be as beautiful as ever. She's been neglected, rejected and left to decay. So many old houses will never know the new life and love that you are pooring in to this beauty. Yes there's ups and there's downs and they are all important parts to this wonderful story. God bless.
I’m sorry for the set backs this week, I know what a frustration that can be. Way to go Kim getting right up on the roof, that would’ve terrified me! You are doing such great work in that home. I’m glad no one was hurt on the flooring hole. Cheers to a better week!
I am so sorry you had such a rough week! You 2 are amazing! You work so hard. I know it has been heartbreaking. I congratulate you for continuing to move forward. You are great!
So much love and support to you and Kim, and all of your family working on your lovely house! I know it's hard, but I am so proud of you, and all of your family.
Awe I'm sorry it has been such a tough week. You will come through it and you'll get everything put together and you will laugh one day. Your poor dad, he must feel so terrible. 😔 just the next challenges to overcome. Well done Kim. That baby doggie is so gorgeous. Hang in there 🤗
Hey look! The Garage! I’m so happy you’re hanging around the garage! I’m all about the 1930s, I chauffeur in a 1939 Ford Deluxe. That’s my favorite era and I like your favorite era too. The house and garage don’t need to be the built the same decade to be just as cool, I’m here for the house’s whole history, very cool.
What a rough week! Those are always bound to happen with a project this size. You've got to pick yourself up and keep at it. You're doing amazing work. Kim is such a great co-captain. You'll get through this!
Kaleb you have a big undertaking here and there are bound to be ups and downs! I felt your pain over the medallion. I read the comments about being able to repair so there's hope. I love your loyalty to your home. It's touching. Your moment of respect for Ukraine was also touching. Everything in perspective right? Take a deep breath, you'll always find a way! So sorry about your horrible two weeks, hopefully the next two and then some are better. There are bound to be hiccups!
My heart goes out to you guys! I'm glad everyone is okay and we all know this house will be better than new once you're done. The garage teasers feel like they're leading up to something...
I drove by in the work van this last week and wanted to say that I really appreciate what you’re trying to do and I would say you’re doing this old property justice! I understand when things happen, especially with historic pieces! I’ve had situations similar to yours happen and it makes your heart go into your throat! Keep on keeping on!
The bathroom looks amazing! So sorry to hear about the broken ceiling pieces. Just hang in there, buddy! You're doing a great job. Tough times come, just strap those boots up and trudge through it!
You two are a force to be reckoned with and you have the strength and perseverance to get past this setback. Looking forward to the finished powder room!
I work very hard to always be kind and positive on any UA-cam comments that I post. I am sorry you had a challenging few weeks. I am glad John was not injured when his leg went through the hole. I would have been extremely hurt if I had an accident at the home of one of my kids and they made sure everyone knew I had been the one that damaged, broke, ruined or destroyed something. I would probably not help them with their project anymore for fear of damaging something else that they cared so much about. I am glad Kim was there, being the absolute trooper she is, to help when the rain poured down. I hope your next weeks are better than this last one. The medallion can be repaired. It’s plaster.🌸
Everything is going to work out fine. I have been watching from the beginning and you are an inspiration to us all. You bring us joy to watch all your efforts ! Kim is a great lady!
Have you ever tried contacting Evergreen studios to restore the medallion or other items in the house? They are currently restoring the St. George Theatre on Staten Island, which was built in 1929. Not sure if they do small jobs or not but you can look into it. Actually, not sure they are the ones restoring the theatre BUT they HAVE restored important buildings and theatres.
I am so sorry for the terrible things that you have dealt with this week. I wish I could somehow take the sting and the guilt away. I have never seen a man so dedicated to a project. Please do not break your heart in the process. I am just one of many who admire the effort that you are making. So glad that your dad was not badly injured. I pray that God will comfort the three of you and give you the strength to rally and continue.
I totally understand your pain over the broken medallion and I know how easy it is to blame yourself but consider this... you're attempting to save this historic building which was in a critical state. If trying to save the life of a person through CPR, you're bound to crack their rib, it'll hurt and you'll feel guilty, feel like you should have done things differently, but they won't care. Because thanks to you they'll live a long life filled with happy memories. You've saved this house, the pain of the broken medallion will fade, concentrate on filling it with happy memories.
I don't believe you can undertake such a large renovation without breaking things, especially of such age. Don't be so hard on yourself, you're doing a brilliant job.
🙏❤️ agreed
Glad your dad is OK. He is infinitely more important than the medallion
Totally agree! I'm glad he wasn't seriously hurt and he picked himself up pretty quickly on his own.
Daddy first ❤️
I'm really disappointed in your character. This is not a disaster.
@@AmyLouiseDens while it may not be a disaster to you, it is to him! Great suggestion! I was wondering if someone as talented as Kaleb might be able to attempt it himself.
I was thinking the same thing- repair and restore the original. Caleb may be able to do it himself as he is rather handy.

I was going to suggest the same thing. Glad someone else thought of it too.
Thank you for showing the emotions you go through fixing your house.
Thanks so much! 😊
The medallion looks restorable. The pieces are pretty big and you should be able to getting it back together
God Bless
#1 Dad is ok. This was my favorite. Keep going forward, you are saving more than the medlion!
Wow, what a week! Learning, learning, learning. Prayers to all in Ukraine.
Wow, that Hall & Brown saw is amazing....more additions for the working museum!
The bathroom windows looks like new, excellent work😇😇😇😇
Kudos to you and Kim!
You sound willing to get back on the horse. Counting your blessings and getting back to it. Life is full of struggle and the struggle tests us and tries us but we are better for having been through it.
Trust the Lord and keep going 💪🏻
Take a deep BREATH and RELAX. Everything's going to turn out, better than you expected.🌻 THANKS!
Be well.
I'm going to try really hard to stay awake for this it's 2am my time. Warm and sunny greetings from the Gold Coast ☀ 💖
You can do it! Aussies are a resilient, hardy folk, and the wait will be well worth it. Felicitations to our friends on the Gold Coast.
@@Mark723 I failed completely. Sound asleep in about 5 minutes
You have become a god in the pantheon of restorations , congratulations.
🇺🇦🌻💙💛
Don’t dwell on the bad things. All is good. I’m always happy to see progress.
So Sorry for your rubbish week 😥 Glad your Dad was not hurt 🤗
Kim is Diamond bless her 🤗 could feel your pain 😥
New week start over love to you all take time out we can wait 🤗
Love Sue ❤❤❤🇬🇧❤❤❤
Kim is your superpower, glad your Dad is ok! Anything can be mend, with the right skill.
Struggling people are everyone’s problem, in the end for this world to succeed we need to support each other when we can❤️
You have a great outlook on life Kaleb, such a big heart, and big ambitions.Thank you for sharing them with the world!
The joys of bringing back an old house, and yes one day you’ll be able to look back and laugh at all the bad/hard weeks. Keep your chins up and keep plugging away.
I so appreciate your heart for preserving this house. You’re doing a great job.
I feel ya dude, I feel ya. Being passionate is a blessing and a curse sometimes.
Caleb, Keep calm and keep restoring. This won't be the first or last disaster. You WILL overcome and get it done!
Awe I'm sorry it has been such a tough week. You will come through it and you'll get everything put together and you will laugh one day. Your poor dad, he must feel so terrible. 😔 just the next challenges to overcome. Well done Kim. That baby doggie is so gorgeous. Hang in there 🤗
God bless Kim! You are a true caretaker of the house, and I believe in you; have faith in your work and your progress. And give Kim a BIG hug!!
Hey look!
Didn’t get notification but glad I kept checking better late than never praying for Ukraine 🇺🇦 you guys are so caring 🙏🏻
What a rough week! Those are always bound to happen with a project this size. You've got to pick yourself up and keep at it. You're doing amazing work. Kim is such a great co-captain. You'll get through this!
I love those stencils. So much more lasting than wallpaper.
One last thing Kim & Caleb. Your hearts are just love. Caleb, just seeing your ending message. Bravo you beautiful, wonderful, insightful human being.
I'm so sorry that happened, I could feel your pain. Your dad must feel so bad.
Those windows are so beautiful. Thank you for saving them and using them again.
DANG! Ur grandfather got that old man strength working for him 💪🏾
The bathroom looks amazing!
The dance of the restorations was we’ll core graphed, congratulations.
I applaud your and Kims maturity
È commovente la tua dedizione! Purtroppo le cose succedono e gli errori si commettono... forza e coraggio!
Oh gosh… i think if i could i would have wallpaper made in that pattern? That looks so incredibly hard!!!
Yay Kim! Truly, not all heroes wear capes! 🦸♀️
